It is not for nothing that they say that the Chabad House in Cozumel is a place of pilgrimage.
We didn't get to eat Friday dinner there and we didn't really linger there.
But the warm welcome and the really massive persuasion that we will join the Friday dinner is enough to understand what a huge heart the Hasidic there have. I am a secular person, but the Chabad house is something else. They are not looking to change you, they accept you as a Jew and this is the best closeness of hearts there is.
You can buy bracelets from them for 100 pesos each and you get discounts at restaurants and attractions on the island. Even without getting a discount I would donate with love. But unequivocally the investment pays for itself in an employee or in the kosher restaurants below
