The place is nice, but I ordered the vacio beef and it was horrible!! My girls ordered the pizza and they didn’t like it either. Finally When we were heading out nobody helped us get s taxi…. Provably is a good poace for burgers and such, but not good for beef

We found the restaurant by google reviews and we were not disappointed. The grilled octopus dish on the bed of garlic mashed potatoes was excellent! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner our experience dining in over all. The atmosphere was nice I wish we could see the ocean but the place is air conditioned and it was refreshing after walking on the hot sun.

The place is very nice but they are very elitist. I tell you that we went as a family to eat and a waiter served us. After 10 minutes, a family of gringos arrived and uff, the attention was first for them, we waited 10 more minutes and they were already serving them. dishes bothered me a lot and I complained about how malinchistas they are, the truth is I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT

Nice atmosphere. Creative modern menu. Flavorful and solid quality. Some misses with service, but would definitely go back. Definitely one of the top restaurants on the Island.

Azul Madera offers a modern and beautiful setting for a memorable dinner on the island. The catch of the day, swordfish, was perfectly cooked, and the appetizers, drinks, and desserts were equally impressive. The upscale atmosphere and excellent service make it a standout choice for a refined dining experience.

We dined here last evening and it was a disaster all the way around. We began with an order of scallops and a bottle of wine. But when it arrives it was steamed clams in a sauce. Being funny, my partner asked the waiter "are those scallops?" The waiter looked at the dish, said he didn't know and called over another guy and asked him! To be nice to the restaurant so they would not lose inventory, we went ahead and accepted them. Way more sauce in the bowl than tiny clams. Next our waiter over sold us on a new offering of Argentinian beef that was twice the price of what we went there intending to have - big mistake. We ordered medium, the beef arrived medium rare which was also fine with us - we try to be flexible eaters! The beef was so tough it had to be hacked at instead of cut and every bite was a chore to get to the swallowing point. Again it was not overcooked (but under) so it boils down to the poor QUALITY of the beef. The biggest disappointment was having to leave about half the serving on the plate due to it being pure fat and thick ugly gristle. Incredibly the 6 pieces of bacon wrapped asparagus were the highlight of the entire meal. Chocolate ganache cake with ice cream followed which was NOT cake at all but rather like a pudding in a tasteless baked/burned flour paste shell. At nearly US$ 200 (and we split ONE entre) - we'll skip it next time. Very disappointing as this is a frequent place of ours. We've always had an awesome dining experience all the way around in the past making this one of our top 3 eateries on the Island for fine dining. Incredible wine selection, superb and inventive cocktails, creative main courses, delicious desserts and extraordinary service can USUALLY all be had in this one magnificent place. Just not last night.

My partner and I dined at this restaurant whilst in Cozumel as part of our trip to Mexico in April.
We totally loved it. The restaurant is located in a renovated traditional Mexican mansion and the architectural design respects the original layout with an innovative twist.
The food brings European (specifically Spanish) influences to the Yucatàn tradition, and the service is very attentive and on the spot: our waiter really spoiled us.
As you might see from the pictures we ordered octopus salad, and tacos as starters, and then steak and catch of the day as main courses.
Everything tasted fresh, and well cooked.
We really liked it and recommend future guests trying this restaurant!

Beautiful atmosphere, fantastic customer service, and one of the best meals I have ever eaten! The Sofia pizza was light and delicious and the portion was excellent! The ribs were succulent and skillfully cooked. The dessert was amazing, so good that we ordered another. Absolutely cannot wait to come back here!!
