So glad we tried this place! Go here, try something different. Try a few different empanadas, try something new too, for 14 pesos each you can’t go wrong. You can make combinations off the menu too, same price. Hot and fresh, really enjoyed it.

Delicious and generously filled empanadas, fried fresh when you order. Accompanying onions, cabbage and hot sauce give a nice addition of crunch and flavor. Our favorites were the pollo tinga and the chorizo. Would be cool if they had a sweet/dessert empanada filled with jam or nutella, that would slap. Thanks to the hardworking people here. Tip them!
Vegetarian options: They have bean, potato, pepper&cheese empanadas. Possibly fried in the same oil as the meat ones, maybe ask if that's an issue for you

Great little hole in the wall. Empanadas are super delicious and great prices. We had the Carne con queso, pescado, chicken tikka, and papa and they were all great.

Very rich and at an excellent price. Each empanada costs 14 pesos, we ate 6 between two people and it was 84 pesos and we were full. In addition, the lady is friendly and the place looks clean. We were satisfied and we will return for breakfast.

Easy to miss this little hole in the wall. Definitely must stop here while in Cozumel. I suggest getting them to go, they will still be hot as they cook them to order. Very cheap..only 14 pesos each and 2-3 are enough for a meal.

Each empanada costs $14, even combined, they are delicious, they are not greasy, but they take between 20 to 30 minutes to have your order ready. The recommendation is to speak on the phone to place the order. As an extra, next door there is a store that sells coconut bread and corn, very good at $20

Don't let the unassuming look fool you! We tried a few places around Cozumel, including some much more expensive places. This was our absolute favorite! The empanadas were hot and delicious, and the condiments (salsa, cabbage, and shallot) that came with were phenomenal and added SO MUCH flavor! Juanita even packs up those condiments in little baggies if you get a to-go order. She was super nice and sweet, too. At 14 pesos/empanada, the value just cannot be beat. This is one of those local, authentic places not influenced by tourism, so do yourself a favor and come eat here.
