Really, really, really good shop. Loved everything about it. I tried the tacos once - gluttonous as I am. Every single one was unusually good! The absolute highlight is the shrimp taco. I'm going to take another small busload of this gift from God this evening. The fish in garlic sauce is also simply delicious. And the best thing: there was a portion of guacamole first. And friends, I'm telling you... easily the best I've had in Mexico so far. I even think I dreamed about this green miracle sauce last night. If there were plastic chairs to complete the atmosphere, I could die a happy man.

Fresh fish, excellent service from the chef. The dishes are very natural, low in salt but at affordable prices for being on the island.

Great local restaurant away from all the tourist traps and American chains on the waterfront. Highly recommend the coconut shrimp and the shrimp burrito. Free tortillas and guacamole were a nice touch. The prices on their website are wrong, it's 500 pesos per person for the Platter, we initially went there for that but was too expensive for us so we got other things in the end. Would return though, it was super yummy.

Indio's is the PREMIER seafood restaurant on Cozumel. The garlic butter smell is so amazing as walk up you begin salivating. The coconut shrimp is off the chain good!If you have a large group, the Iowa platter will rock your face off. They now have breakfast!Indio is the nicest and most accommodating of owners. He just owned in a newer spot with more room.

I had seen many posts about Indio's place and finally had a chance to go there myself. When we got there, the tables were already filled but Indio's family brought out a table and chairs for us to sit outside. My friend had the fried fish, I had the Coconut Shrimp. Extras included delicious guacamole and then Indio offered us each a Mexican Mojito. WOW!!! Everything was absolutely yummy and I look forward to going back!
