The service is too slow, the place is too hot, the food is nothing spectacular, the portions are small.
Parking: The place does not have its own parking so you have to arrive early to park on the sidewalk in front. There is no paid parking nearby.

Best food on the island. It is a local restaurant but if you are visiting you need to try to get here. So good!

Very disappointed. Just came in for a couple of tacos. We got one order of four tacos and some rice. $17 is what they charged. That is 306 pesos. More than double the charge for chicken fajitas. We really wanted to support a local place instead of the tourist traps. I would pass this one up and be sure to get the price in advance wherever you go. I knew to do that but was in a casual mood and dropped my guard.

Had Poc Chuk. It was amazing. My wife had fajitas, and they were amazing as well. I would like to know how to get the flower tea and the actual name of it.

Typical authentic Mexican cuisine. The senior manager is very attentive and friendly. The ambience is simple, the furnishings rustic.

We'd intended to eat lunch at a nearby restaurant, but we mistakenly went to Las Flamitas, which seemed to have a lot of local customers. We did not regret this error. The meals included a bowl of chicken noodle veggie soup, a main course and sides (we had poc chuc, with rice and sliced veggies, plus a fish fillet in garlic sauce with fries, rice and sliced veggies), and a glass of horchata. Everything was delicious and very filling, plus we were excited to have some vegetables.
