We'd intended to eat lunch at a nearby restaurant, but we mistakenly went to Las Flamitas, which seemed to have a lot of local customers. We did not regret this error. The meals included a bowl of chicken noodle veggie soup, a main course and sides (we had poc chuc, with rice and sliced veggies, plus a fish fillet in garlic sauce with fries, rice and sliced veggies), and a glass of horchata. Everything was delicious and very filling, plus we were excited to have some vegetables.
A close friend, generational Cozumelean, took me here for lunch today. We had two of their daily specials and they were fantastic.Super good, authentic, food prepared with care. Excellent service at a very good price.Don’t pass these small places up when looking for a great place to eat. Gems like this are everywhere in Cozumel and they appreciate your business.My 2 pesos.Greg T.

Parking: The place does not have its own parking so you have to arrive early to park on the sidewalk in front. There is no paid parking nearby.
