It is a bit fancy with a glass separation from the sea, maybe there are two of these places, it is part of the westin Hotel. The seaside is excellent. They were flexible for me to give me a vegan option ( I had enough of fish). The food tastes yummy, as are the desserts.I put on long pants ? ? to be sure not to be refused, I as read in one of the angry reviews.
Vegetarian options: Awesome , but you have to ask as the tofu tacos are not on the lunch menu.

The food is terrible, not even minimum effort. The soup is clearly just a powdered soup, with a sliced onion on it. The tuna appetizer - I wish it had been canned tuna, it may have been better. We didn’t order a main courseService was good, but the restaurant was empty and still took a while to get the waiters attention.

I am a very serious reviewer and don't just hand out 5 star reviews. BUT WOW do they deserve it. The vegan breakfast tacos were undoubtedly the best tacos I had in mexico. And the fruit plate was by faaaaaaaaar the best fruit. I HAVE BEEN DREAMING AND HOPING FOR THIS COMBO EVERY DAY SINCE!!!!! Currently, I am in tulum hitting up all the vegan taco spots and none have came close to comparing to Las Gaviotas! And check out that view, your practically sitting in the sea! The service is so good, the waiters literally bow ?♂️ to you. LITERALLY.Food 5 starsService 5 starsAtmosphere 5 starsHands down!!!!!!!!!Maybe the people complaining about the steak here should try the vegan options!!!!!!! The fruit was so ripe it melts in your mouth. Seeded watermelon, plum, papaya, melons, banana, guava, white pineapple, you name it!And don't even get me started on that Salsa verde!!!!!!

It does not have air conditioning. Full of mosquitoes. For breakfast they do not have drinkable yogurt available. The attention is great. The food very rich.Put an air mice. With what they charge, they can't have customers sweating like pigs and all chopped up.
Excellent dishes and very delicious

doesn’t let people with bathing suits dine at the restaurant. you’re a restaurant at a beach… & not all ppl in bathing suits are wet. how does this make sense as a policy? You’re a 3 star restaurant. You should be begging people to come in at this point.

Food is overpriced and subpar as well as the drinks. Hubby did say the chilaquilles were delicious. The staff and service and view were impeccable.

Bad value for money (12€ for a small glass of wine). Nice location but very inconsistent quality of service
Terrible service. Steak was raw. Not medium. Don’t take Amex even though the bill holder says Amex. Had to flag a server every time I wanted something. $99 for lunch. For 3.
Service was nice, restaurant pretty but the grilled shrimp was salty, the chorizo was disappointing, most of the beef options where decent but not worth the price. Salad bar was okay.
View from this restaurant is very nice! The food is average.
I would definitely come back here?amazing views, great beer and delicious ceviche, staff very friendly.
