I didn't have the highest expectations of the gastronomy in Cozumel. It's just a tourist place and the Pirata Grill is a tourist bar with a map that you can find everywhere here. Mexican food for (mainly American) tourists. The delicious smell attracted us and the food surprised us. It was perfectly cooked, with fresh herbs and spices, far away from the standard taste found in tourist stalls. The service was unobtrusive and very nice, overall highly recommended!
I loved the place, the food is very good and the drinks are not far behind, I loved the Mojitos! Marvella's attention was the best, in addition to the recommendations she gave us!

Great food. Especially good for foreigners who aren't accustomed to different food. They had acai bowls and sandwiches that were tasty and soothing. Also the drinks were strong!
