Well I ordered more food because I forgot to take a picture after tasting the first bite of the garlic shrimp. My wife got the coconut shrimp and also forget…..that’s how good this place is…I plan to add a picture of the shrimp tacos I ordered for my second meal

This restaurant was conveniently located less than two blocks from our accommodations in Cozumel. It was so convenient and also had really delicious food. It is a small family owned restaurant with just a handful of tables. We ordered a variety of food off their menu from grilled fish to octopus tacos to burritos. Every meal was exceptional. It was an average of $10 per person for each of the three meals that we ate here. The very last day was the day leading up to Carnivale so the owner walked over to our table and gave us complimentary tequila shots!

We have been going to Indio's restaurant for many years. He has been in several locations in Cozumel, and we have followed him around because of the excellent food and the great hospitality. The pandemic hurt his business and forced him to downsize, but he never once let it beat him. He always has a smile and friendly banter for visitors and friends. We truly consider Indio and his family to be friends and we never miss an opportunity to stop in and see him. Did I mention the food is great? Better than a lot of other more expensive places. Stop in and see him. It will be worth your while. PS, get the lobster tacos ready we are coming back soon!

The food is amazing and the owner greets us every time and remembers us from our last trip. The food is amazing and such great quality. We eat there 50% of our meals when in Cozumel. ❤️❤️❤️❤️!

The quesadillas are very tasty, the stews are very varied and the flavor is very good. You have to go early, the service is a bit slow.
