#whenincozumel Guisados - let's taco 'bout it! Whatever you thought you knew of #tacos, you'll immediately question and forget once you take a bite of anything you order from this place - and in a good way! It's one of those small, local, hole in the wall spots - on the cheap, no menu, no frills type of place. One of which I wish we discovered as soon as we landed in Cozumel and had every day because it was THAT good! Our waiter went over what's available, but he didn't need to. I said, "we're trying one of everything!". Each taco comes in a blue corn tortilla that's made to order. Only a few minutes of a wait, but the juice was absolutely worth the squeeze. In the photo, we had chicken mole, cactus, papas con chorizo, and green chile and chicken. They offered a sprinkling of cacao on the chicken mole, and just like one would almost always say "yes" on fresh grated parm on pasta, I eagerly and happily nodded and answered "si!!!". And WOW, I've never tasted mole like that and will forever be on the hunt for one that can get as close to it here in the States until we return to CZM.

Never dissapoints!!! Brought our family back to let them experience this place. Absolutely delicious!! It's one of those places you want to eat every meal of the day. Great service, excellent food, cool vibe. DO NOT MISS this place if you're in Cozumel.

Delicious tacos de guisados (reminded me of Mexico City) and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Just off the main centro area, about a 10 min walk from the ferry. Clean bathroom.

Maybe the best homemade tacos we have had in Mexico. And it’s cheap as well. The people there really want you to feel welcome and happy. I HIGHLY recommend!

Amazing food and staff this is a must eat. They have rotating types of corn tortillas. Mole has artisan cocoa sprinkled on top. Don’t sleep on the potato chorizo.

We have been coming to vacation at Cozumel for almost 20 years. Wish we had found this place earlier. Truly authentic Mexican freshly made tacos, tortillas and sides. The meat selections and dishes used regional homemade recipes. The extact opposite of chain type restaurants like Senor Frog. We will be adding to our favorite list of places to go when we visit. Price also one of lowest I have seen for tacos....it's a win win all around.

This is the place! Great taco place, just a road back from the main tourist area. Incredibly friendly people and great food. Blue corn tacos with rice and chicken stew or smoked pork chop were the choice for me. I went before scuba diving from Fonatur marina and headed straight back here for a second round after and got take-out for the ferry Memo (owner?) is from Mexico City and happy to talk and give small pointers in Spanish language if asked.

SUPERB!!!! These tacos were to die for- I’m vegan so had the cactus taco (my favorite!); the vegetable mole taco; and the potato and spinach taco - all truly delicious with wonderful spices. Highly recommend- I was lucky enough to eat here as part of the Beach Bums electric bike tour…. Also highly recommended ??

The tacos are sooo delicious! They have a few vegetarian options which taste great as well! Super nice staff! We're coming back! :)

Amazing food, lovely staff. The tacos were fantastic; utterly delicious. Really good variety of vegan options that were very tasty as were the chicken (didn’t try others). Small place so somethings aren’t on menu or are sold out but always something tasty. Could not recommend this highly enough - very good value too.
