One of the best tacos on the island, Garnachero style from the center. Suadero is the best, the others are also an acceptable option. The green sauce is very tasty. The place is small and extremely hot. I recommend ordering to go.

A waiter at the hotel where we stayed recommended them to us and it turned out to be a good surprise, Mexico City style tacos, suadero, longaniza, tripa, buche, etc., very very good, highly recommended!!

Typical and local taqueria, variety of meats. It's not a fancy place, but the tacos are very well served. I ordered three of suadero and was more than satisfied.

⭐⭐⭐ I'm vegan + Medical Medium + gluten-free and mostly fat-free and corn-free.

My way of eating can be hard to maintain while traveling.

But at the Taquería El Mexicano was very helpful and made a special dish just for me with veggies and potatoes ? ?

The waitress was very help and made sure she was right about all my special need by asking in the kitchen ??

? It's important to order “sin manteca [animal fat often used for cooking vegetarian dishes] and sin queso [cheese]”.

?For drinks I had a watermelon juice from the menu. Remember to order without sugar [sin azúcar].

The dish was a mix of veggies fried on the pan (zucchini , free beans, carrots, onion and cabbage).

The dish was a little oily but I forgot to ask for it without oil only “sin manteca”

The potatoes turned out to be french fries - but I wasn't specific on that part when ordering, and of course I'll get french fries in a touristic area as Cozumel, since that's what most tourists want ??‍♀️

The dish had no spice added at all, so I added some habanero salsa, and it was fine.

I think I would have had better luck ordering a salad ?

The watermelon juice was huge and very delicious ?

⭐⭐⭐ I would love my vegan gluten free dish 3⭐ and 5⭐ for the watermelon juice.

My family was more satisfied with their meals and especially the huge drinks, so I'll give it 5⭐ for the drinks 4⭐overall.

We paid 850 $MX for 4 main courses and 5 drinks.

Yes it’s a hole in the wall place but don’t be scared. Just order “Suadero” or “Pastor” both are similar to steak tacos. I personally liked suadero it’s more juicy. It’s alittle past the touristy area, but keep walking to it lol

They are prepared daily and fresh. Also, their pineapple juice is bomb. If this helped you give it a thumbs up so I can know you been helped?

If u are on a budget defo go here. Tacos were good, nothing fancy, no cheese. Place mediocre.
