Hidden gem worth the trek. This is where locals eat authentic delicious Mexican food that’s reasonably priced. It’s cheap by US and Canadian standards. Huge portions, fresh and delicious. I got the steak plate tacos which was supposed to come with only 5 tacos but they gave me 8 taco tortillas and there was so much juicy steak that I still had left over.
The boy who served me was so kind and has an innocence that other places lack. I got a taco plater which like I said was more than 8 tacos, guacamole and chips, and a soda for 210 pesos. I tipped well because your money goes far here, better to give more to locals than expensive places by the beach and tourist area.

Good tacos but small, but the worst thing is that they are very, very slow to serve, they should measure their production and if they see they have people, put more people in the kitchen and not make them wait more than 20' or more for an order of tacos and if we order more wait another 20'

We found this place on our last night in Cozumel, I wish it was sooner. Finally we had authentic Mexican tacos at Mexican prices. We had a group of nine, we were served by the owner who quickly rearranged a few tables to accommodate our group. Food was outstanding, quick with all the trimmings. One drawback was no alcoholic drinks, its not licensed.....this place will be on the top of my list next time when in Cozumel.

The truth is the shepherd with cheese. And their tortillas with pineapple. Asuuuuu mechaaaa. Rich for moments of taquisa or cravings

Atmosphere not great kinda hot feels like your on the street, which you are. The food was amazing... Just as good or better than many of the cost side food joints that charge 5x and sneak in water bottle for like six bucks. Theses in town joints are surprisingly less scammy and less expensive. Like taj Indian palace for 90 bucks or this place for 12 bucks (USD)... Yea this is just as good and for nearly a tenth of the price? I tipped ten bucks. They were kind and courteous and not annoyed with us non-spanish speaking tourists. Go here!!! De-lish ????

Although it's a bit out-of-the-way, Los Arcos is one of the relatively few taquerias that was open on Sunday evening. It's a casual place with some of the cheapest tacos we found in town. Although they have a typical menu, it's more of a spot for pork. Though all were good, we enjoyed the pastor with pineapple, the fresh pork chop and the chorizo more than the steak.
