The Money Bar Beach Club

Great place to eat and go snorkeling. There is no cover charge just buy some food and enjoy the water and white sand. Other places have a cover charge to snorkle but here just order some food and drinks and you get to enjoy some of the best snorkeling on the island.

Grabbed some drinks and nachos at the bar to help support the snorkeling spot, which was awesome. Someone placed large pots to support the ecosystem. And it worked. More parrot fish than I could count, blue angelfish(?) and I spotted 2 barracuda. Little man spotted a small skate hiding on the bottom. Good visibility and not too crowded (July 11, 2024).

Be warned there was a bit of a current, but that lasted an hour maybe.

Arrived there, asked them if they had snorkeling equipment, they said yes, I said I need it in 20 minutes. I order a lemonade and a mineral water, they bring me a lemonade and a sparkling water. I tell them I didn't ask for a sparkling water they say sorry and left. I then ask them to rent the snorkeling equipment and they tell me that they don't have it. So I couldn't snorkel and wouldn't have stopped there if they directly told me they don't have the equipment. They just lied so I would go there and spend my money. So i couldn't snorkel and i paid for a lemonade and a drink I didn't order. When arrive the time to pay they ask me if I'm happy I tell them no and explain why and they laugh in my face. Shame.

This is a great spot for food, drinks, and snorkeling. The water is crystal clear with lots of fish, and the food was delicious. We had to hurry back to return our rental car so they kindly rushed our order. They had a band playing covers and lots of people were dancing and having fun. They also offer 2 for 1 happy hour drinks. Music I believe is on Fri & Saturday. Their fish, octopus, shrimp ceviche is a must. I highly recommend them.

Nice beach club. No entry fee, you pay what you eat & drink. It’s a bit pricey but if you spent the whole day there with snorkelling, it’s worthy. If you wanna have more foods & drinks, maybe all inclusive other beach clubs could be better choice. Strong current, be careful when you do snorkelling on your own and don’t have experience how to swim in strong currents.

Totally awesome place! Perfect sunset view. There are areas for swimming and snorkeling, also sunbathing. The food and service is spectacular! A great place if you just want to eat, or spend the day. Definitely a must do.

Great place to hang and snorkel right off the patio. Food is good but service is a bit lacking. The eating was interrupted by pesky flies - not sure if that was unusual. This was not our experience last year. $700 with French fries (great) a fish sandwich (large and very tasty) and a couple drinks. July 202

I had an excellent time at money bar restaurant The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant offers clean restrooms, showers, and comfortable lounge chairs, making it perfect for a beach day. The service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

We always bring our own snorkel gear on trips. Asked our guide for a good snorkeling spot and I have to say Money Bar Beach Club was the best bonus to our snorkeling! Shaded spots, great food, & delicious drinks!
Great way to spend a day! Easy acces to the water so we were in & out keeping cool between snacks.
