The Kitchen-Blacks Harbour

We ate at The Kitchen last night for the first time. We will definitely return! We ate outside on the patio because we had our dog with us. Nice that it is dog friendly. The staff were so friendly, the food was delicious and they made us all feel welcome. My husband had the fish and chips which looked great and he said were very tasty. One piece that was huge. I had the chicken club. It was excellent and I was stuffed. When it was time to go they kindly brought our bill outside to us along with a loaf of sour dough bread we decided to bring home for later. The bread is so good!! All the baking looked excellent. The staff is very accommodating. Everything was great and we will be returning soon!

Dude, we had a blast from the second we stepped into the kitchen. The staff were super friendly and hilarious, the guy had us cracking up. The owner was really nice, I got the chicken wrap and my husband got the chicken burger (seriously, it was the BEST BURGER EVER). We also got the ice cream sandwich and the blueberry cheesecake, and they were both amazing! Seriously, don't skip this place, you won't regret it.

The food was amazing. Service was phenomenal. We watched the chef approach another table to inform them that one of the items in their order wasn't as fresh as she would like and would they accept an alternative. Excellent customer service.

Lovely spot, excellent food, value and service! We enjoy our meals, desserts and bought two loaves of bread to go! The bread was amazing!! Everything is home made and tasted great! Highly recommend as a stop in Blacks Harbour!

I rarely do reviews, unless it is so good that people NEED to go!

The dill pickle soup, seared tuna burger and jalapeño cheddar loaf (to go) were served by an attentive server. It all was yummy and made with care.

The folks at the next table drive 75min to come here vs go to St. Andrews.

Amazing food, consistently fresh & delicious, especially their soups & sandwiches. One of my favourite restaurants between St. Stephen & Saint John & such a welcome break to have alternatives when you’ve had your fill of fish & chips!

The foods are good. Its just that we waited 40 minutes for our food to be serve. We arrive
and order first than the other costumer do but they serve the other food first than us. I do believe that waiting 15 to 20 minutes is reasonable for a restaurant but 40 minutes is too much. Personaly opinion im not gonna comeback here again.

Nice spot, apparently the only restaurant in black harbour, not many other choices. But food was good. Good value. The half sizes were a great option.
