“was in caraquet for the first time, as a visitor from nova scotia. i love rural french nb but have never been this far north!was on my own for the evening and a bit bored with some time to kill, staying at the motel down the road which was also lovely, so checked around a bit to see if anything caught my fancy. lucky for me i noticed on google maps that this place was quite literally a 3 minute walk from my room, and so i popped on a sweater and walked over.i get the feel that most of the time this place is probably pretty busy as it was about 8pm on a wednesday but still very bustling! the guys who got me in there sat me in a corner, got me the wifi info and checked on me regularly. my server was extremely efficient, and as someone who has worked in foodservice for most of my adult life i appreciate the hell out of that. i had a roll combo + sapporo and just chilled in the corner, listened to my audiobook, and took in the atmosphere. my server was very timely especially considering how busy it was, i felt looked after the whole time which is something i tend to notice more often when im dining solo.the sushi was fantastic, especially considering it's rural northern nb - i was surprised to see just how varied the menu was, and the whole place had a nice homey feeling vibe so i can see it being a popular hangout for locals/a nice spot for tourists who don't want pizza or fast food. would go back 100% - would give me an excuse to come visit lovely caraquet!”

“The young owners,(I am assuming they were owners) were standing outside when we approached their establishment. We were looking for a certain seafood restaurant. They informed us it did not open until 4:00 and proceeded to point out another restaurant within walking distance. Well, we were so impressed with their helpfulness, that we decided to skip the seafood and eat at THEIR café. We enjoyed delicious paninis, lemon meringue desserts and a luscious brownie, all for a very affordable price. They are not licensed, but we were able to go the establishment next door, La Chope (Brokerie?), buy our libations and enjoy both that and our meal outside. Great atmosphere, with a fabulous view of the wharf and the belle Baie de Chaleur. Stop here and enjoy an all around wonderful experience. We were given an Acadian and French welcome at its BEST!”

“Definitely worth the price. The restaurant isn't in a big area and might be missed if you don't know what you're looking for. The food is fresh and the crab club was amazing! Also went and got ice cream afterwards ? this is the orange pineapple.”

“Je recommande ce restaurant, car la nourriture est bonne. Mais hier lorsque j'ai appelé pour commander (3:55), en répondant, je me fais dire un instant. Après environ 3 minutes d'attente la ligne coupe, je rappel, elle me dit un instant et accroche la ligne direct, je rappel, elle dit encore un instant et me place en attente, après 5 minutes d'attentes, je peux finalement commander. A l'arrivée, il y avait une employée au cash qui regardait le cash et ignorait les personnes qui attendais, il y avait 5 personnes devant moi. Finalement une employée arrive je dis que j'ai commandé, elle me dit, la fille pour les commandes va venir. Mais sa quand même pris du temps avant qu'elle arrive. Les commandes étaient sur le comptoir et les premiers qui attendaient depuis plus longtemps que moi avaient aussi une commande en attente sur le comptoir. En tout cas côté service il pourrait y avoir une amélioration. Ensuite j'arrive à la maison avec ma commande, surprise.... les contenants pour la soupe sont minuscules! Je croyais que c'était un contenant de sauce, mais non c'était les soupes! Malgré ceci, la nourriture est quand-même bonne.”

“VERY GOOD, at a more than reasonable price, seafood casserole on a bed of rice, DELICIOUS and inexpensive, we weren't looking for seafood!!! The atmosphere, the decor is filled with works of art, antiques and artfully recycled items. Smiling, welcoming staff in every way, it was a great experience, thank you ?Parking: Big and cleanKid-friendliness: They have a corner with a small kitchenette for children, games, well lit, even a patio door, we ate there :)Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is a long ramp, you enter from behind, the slope is longer and therefore less difficult to climb”
