En route to Moncton from Ottawa, we stopped at the Exit 153 to have lunch. It was instant love. The decor is warm and inviting, brick walls with lots of wood, seats and booths in marine blue and burnt orange accents. Lovely! We had the seafood chowder and biscuit, the best chowder we’ve ever had so far, the house salad (with pecans and blueberries), a nice wine vinegar vinaigrette, and a side of crispy, well seasoned fries as a side. The food was delicious. Our waitress, Susan, was very friendly, warm, and professional. She enhanced our dining experience. We told her that we would be back, and we kept our word. We’re here now again three days later, en route to Ottawa… and still loving it!

Had a great time! The service was amazing, and the atmosphere was good as well. But unfortunately my friend and I got really bad food poisoning! Most likely from the butter chicken we both had.

Love the atmosphere of this place. Variety of drinks to order. Smaller menu. Food is usually great. Last few times service has been very slow, long times for drinks.

Delicious breakfast and awesome service. Rosemary is one of the nicest ladies you're ever likely to meet. Overall a great way to start the morning after a quick stay at the Amsterdam Inn. Thanks and happy new year to whoever reads this review...

Delicious food! Great service and atmosphere.
Exit 153 and the Amsterdam Inn have been our go to stop on the way to Quebec and Ontario from NS for the last 2 years. We've stayed there close to a dozen times. When we first stayed they were very accommodating for my dietary needs- replacing meat and hash browns with some fruit. We have given rave reviews to family and friends passing through. Unfortunately there has been a change in policy and the once substantial and delicious breakfast is now just eggs and warm bread (not toasted long enough). On our last trip we had hoped that this was a temporary change: however, when we were there this week we were disappointed that a once bountiful breakfast is now inadequate to prepare for a long day of travel. We'll be changing our stop to Fredericton or Edmundson where there are more filling, accessible options.
Note: The hash browns are not actually gluten free. They share a fried with wheat based products.
Vegetarian options: Most breakfasts contain meat with no substitutions
Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free bread

Exit 153 provides a lovely dining experience! The atmosphere is pleasant and calming, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The food is delicious, and is promptly served. Staff members are welcoming, with a smile on their face. A huge shoutout to the manager, Lolo, who is extremely friendly, personable, and kind!! I highly recommend this restaurant!

My fella and I enjoyed a delightful dining experience at the Exit 53 Restaurant in Florenceville last night. We both selected the Tzatziki Atlantic Salmon, which featured a 6oz grilled salmon filet accompanied by cucumber yogurt, whipped potatoes, and carrots. The meal was exquisite, and I would like to commend the chef. Moreover, I would like to express my gratitude to our waitress, Hannah, for her outstanding hospitality and service. Hannah's exceptional friendliness and attentiveness made our dining experience even more enjoyable, and she is a model example of superior customer service.

It was my 40th birthday. My wife planned a surprise party in one of the conference rooms. Chef Shane whipped up an incredible prime rib meal for 30 people that left everyone stuffed to the gills. Our server Trish also did a phenomenal job keeping everything g clean and organized. Everything was awesome! Thanks guys!

It’s a big YES. Have dined here twice for breakfast twice for dinner while staying in the hotel across past couple years. Excellent. Well above expectations for a hotel-attached. Well organized well staffed with capable people and the kitchen is doing everything to an elevated standard for solid reliable substantial and delicious family eating
