The manager is one of the nicest people I have ever met! My Aunt from Ontario ordered a cheese ball for her sister, my mother over the phone long story short it wasn’t ready when I went to get it. Instead of being told to come back at another date, it was hand delivered to our home which was a 30 minute drive. Awesome people!

Dear Chess PieceI am writing to express my utter disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to your cafe and the concerning treatment of your staff members. The unpleasant experience I had was primarily due to the extremely poor management demonstrated by GREG.First and foremost, I was shocked to witness the aggressive and unprofessional manner in which the manager was addressing your employees. His constant belittling, shouting, and public humiliation were not only uncalled for but also created a very uncomfortable atmosphere for customers like myself.Furthermore, my simple request for assistance with my order was met with disdain and a dismissive attitude by GREG. He was not only unhelpful but also displayed a complete lack of interest in attending to my needs as a customer.As a patron of your establishment, I expect a certain level of professionalism and courtesy from your staff, especially those in a managerial position. I implore you to take action in addressing the behavior exhibited by GREG to ensure that such incidents do not recur. It is imperative that employees are treated with respect and dignity, and that customers receive the level of service they deserve.I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope that you will take the necessary steps to rectify the situation. Hi, I love your food but where you lack is hygiene... As an example, the gray plastic tray for dirty dishes shouldn't shoulder me at my table and they're shouldn't be a table banquette beside the bathroom door ?? Perhaps convert this banquette space for the dirty dishes, milk, sugars, etc. And have your staff clear the tables.

Tried their garlic and cheese scone - really yum! It was not too dry and was really filling.Their spinach and feta croissant on the other hand had a bit of a bitter taste; wasn’t really my favourite. However, their red pepper and goat cheese croissant at the airport branch is to die for!The staff here always greets you with a smile and service is very nice! Pricing is pretty decent!In short, it’s a nice little place to grab a coffee and a pastry!

I am delayed in writing this review, but don’t you delay on trying this gem. My niece took me & a friend on Friday. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, with an added layer of positive energy coming from the staff. The place is VERY accommodating to dietary needs/restrictions & staff are very patient. It was difficult to choose just one of the numerous delights they offer. Each one perfectly prepared, Michelin star perfect. We settled on the triple chocolate mouse with a flourless chocolate torte. Time seemed to stop on my first bite. My tastebuds danced with happiness, my eyes closed and a joyous song played in head. The mouse was so light and creamy, the torte was flavourful and provided just the right amount textural contrast. There was a thin glaze on top which provided just the right amount of sweetness to blend everything harmoniously. I may have embarrassed myself as I got lost in the moment, but it was definitely worth it. My only regret, I didn’t have a whole piece for myself. I will be back the next time I am in town. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world.

They wont give you a cup instead they serve coffee in a cardboard french fry container that leaks. Food is bland and very very expensive. The people in the bakery always seem to be goofing off or on their phones (teenagers).

I will never have coffee from here until you change the takeout coffee cups. It’s crazy that you guys are the best coffee shop in town but use such an awful design for cups. Please review this asap

The coffee/food is 5 stars but I am giving this 2 star rating because I am not a fan of the new takeout coffee "cups" they now have. I was just there the other day for the first time in a while and was surprised to see that their "new cups", as the employee put it, look like a cardboard takeout food box. It was extremely awkward to drink from. I understand the idea is to do without the plastic lid, but perhaps a different design would be better.
