We’ve been to the drift a few times. We decided to have our family there for supper. Unfortunately, it took over an hour just to get our meal. We saw several tables come in and get served and leave before we even got our meal. Pretty embarrassing as I had suggested it was a good place. After an hour I asked about why it was taking so long and if someone could check on it. Even then no one even checked back with us and we still were waiting for another 30 minutes to get our food. Once we got our food, out of the six people, not one person enjoyed the meal. Everything was dry, the fries were cold and hard. The beef tacos were dry and chewy. Don’t order chicken with your salad. You’ll get leg meat. I was completely embarrassed. It’s a great spot but not sure what happened..

Pool is super tiny, music is way too loud and everything is packed in close. its cool they serve alcohol but there are children everywhere..

Large group arrived around 5:30pm on Friday evening and we were seated at one of the sectionals beside the bar. Food was good but service was subpar at best. One person in our group actually used to serve at restaurant inside the hotel few years back. Couple of members of our groups food was obviously forgotten to be rung in and instead of admitting mistake tried to cover it up and their food came out approximately 45 minutes after ours. Drinks were often forgotten. Lack of checking in. Server disappeared for long time (at least 30 minutes)with some guy she had been flirting with at the bar and didn't have anyone take over our table. Bills took forever because she clearly doesn't know how to deal with large groups. Busy patio needs experienced servers that can deal with busy Friday nights. Shame cause it's a nice spot but service would make me not return. When group is spending $700-800 for evening out, kinda expect decent service.

I work as an executive in the service industry. We were served by Jillian and Alannah and I can say that they both have a very bright future. Both displayed pleasant and kind dispositions and were extremely personable and attentive to our table ensuring that we had a great experience. If you don’t promote them, I will !!

Visited the Drift Pool Patio for dinner and was immediately impressed by the location and the amazing patio vibe. The atmosphere is fantastic—perfect for a sunny evening out. I was seated right away, offered water, and my order was taken quickly. Watching the food come out to nearby tables got me excited for my own meal.

I ordered the Atlantic Salmon and while the presentation was lovely, I was shocked by how small the portion was. I received 6 small baby potatoes, 5 spears of asparagus, 3 cherry tomatoes, and a small piece of fish. I was tempted to count the Brussels sprouts too, but figured that might be taking it too far.

The food itself was delicious—no complaints on taste or quality—but unfortunately, I left still hungry and had to eat again at another restaurant afterward. I really dislike leaving a restaurant hungry, and it definitely took away from the overall experience. I wasn’t interested in trying dessert or ordering anything else after that.

This place has so much potential with its setting and flavour, but the portion sizes need to be re-evaluated. I hope they take the feedback to heart, because I’d love to return if things improve.

I’ve never had such terrible service. We waited almost two after ordering our food. We had to ask multiple servers where the food was for someone in our party. They all kept saying they would find out but they never got back to us.

Took forever to get drinks. It’s so unfortunate as the establishment could have made so much more money if the servers actually came around.

The atmosphere is great! But service was 0/5

This place is nice but the service is terrible. I waited an hour and a half for my food and eventually had to just go back to work without eating. Can't comment on the food because I couldn't wait long enough for it to come

Ordered the fried cauliflower it was really good with a big potion but slightly oily. Also got the nachos and was surprised by how big the potion is but it was really good. The drinks were also really well made. I had a great server, Zan who kept up with us and provided us with prefect service. The atmosphere was great too the sunset is especially beautiful from the patio.

We ate here in the past and it was good, way overpriced though. My main critic is the cost of the pool, it use to be 10$ now 25$ per person no reduced priced for kids. Hartt island is 20$ per person 15$ for kids and has large water slides. 25$ just to swim in a cold pool? No thanks. Would prefer to go to Hartt island instead.

Had a terrible experience at the Drift last night. Took family from Alberta, New York and New Jersey for a supposed lovely evening. After more than a 2 hr wait, our food came cold, some overcooked, some undercooked and even a hair in an order of fries! Order of pork belly was very small and tasteless and the 4 tiny scallops were undercooked. Plus he got what he said was a can of cream corn poured onto the dinner plate for a veggie! Way over priced for what we got. Even nachos were cold and chips were stale. They did take care of our bill but not an impressive show for our Fredericton restaurant.

One other thing it shows fish tacos still on the questions below, not on new menu! Updated menu is not online! We had checked out menu before we went and had our dinners picked a lot of items not available now!

Dietary restrictions: One of our visitors was lactate intolerant and ordered a bowl. It came with crème fraiche (not listed) and after several hours of waiting decided not to send it back so pushed as much aside as he could!

The atmosphere is nice, we went in for a nice dinner with a view. The chicken panini was extremly bland, they ran out of sweet potato fries, and the cups were dirty. One water cup had lipstick on it, and 2 out of the 3 cups had hairs in them.Very disappointing for the Delta.

Had a visit this Sunday - ngl, it’s a bit confusing to find the host stand so that we could get seated and even if the place was almost empty, we were seated at a table which was clearly not in a good spot. We had to switch tables on our own.We tried the Peach daiquiri frozen cocktail - was pretty good! We also tried the chilli spiced fried cauliflower and haddock and chips - nothing spicy about the fried cauliflower and it was a bit too oily, like the oil was dripping down the stand. Our server, Olivia, was really friendly and polite. The view is really good, especially at sunset. Overall, it’s a good place to have a drink with a nice view of the sunset but if you wanna grab a bite, not a recommended place as the menu is quite limited.
