Best Korean food I've had in Fredericton and some of the best food here in general!
Tried the jeyyuk (spicy stir fried pork) and it was delicious. Delightfully flavorful - the dish struck a great balance between spicy, sweet and savoury (although I was hoping for it to be just a bit spicier the excellent flavor made up for it). Highly recommend selecting noodles as your base - they were very good!
Kind of an odd spot. At the time that we went there they were offering dine in but no table service despite it feeling like a place that would offer table service. We usually get takeout from restaurants anyways so this really didn't detract from the experience for us at all but might if that's something that you look for.
I'm a relatively price sensitive customer and I found this place to offer excellent value. I will definitely be coming back!

My favourite sushi restaurant in Fredericton! Always a go to. The staff is always so kind and the food is immaculate. The last time i ordered from J’s i was given a sample of a new roll i have not tried before! Which i thought was very generous. Thank you so much for staying open, i don’t know what i’d do without J’s ❤️

Iv left so many good reviews over the years about this particular restaurant so it breaks my heart to leave such a bad one. The service was non existent .I had to ask for our drinks half hour after we ordered. We ordered up front and paid upfront not at the table. After waiting half hour while countless take outs were received and picked up we finally received 6 burnt yet cold spring rolls and 8 goyza ( first time trying that I'm not sure if they were supposed to be cold. Those would have been spectacular served hot) then we were served miso soup in little plastic containers. Which my husband equated to cat dishes Which went right along with the spicy crab rolls that resembled cat food 😞 The crab roll and California roll I ordered were smashed together in a tiny plastic container. We were not given silverware or chopsticks right away but we're offered chopsticks when the rolls finally showed up thankfully because we had to eat the spring rolls and goyza with our fingers. No one checked on us or said have a good evening when we left. The meal was so lack luster and lack taste that we will only be dining at huru from now on when we crave good sushi! Iv never taken the time to write a bad review before but for 60 dollars I thought you should know its not worth it. Sad state of affairs. So dissatisfied this restaurant used to be top notch 😪 J's if you only cater properly to your take out clients perhaps you should consider closing your dining room.

Food is still good, but the service was an absolute mess and they don't offer plates or such anymore. It's primarily a takeout place now.
On this trip it took 3 reminders and nearly an hour to get a simple order. I gather they were having system issues, but it really wasn't the same as it was in the past.

Pad Thai was really heavy on the onion. Some might love it, but I hate onions! Lol.
Nice spot though. Got takeout so I was in and out.
Staff was very friendly.

It pains to say this because this place was one of my favorites until the last few months. There's been a sharp decline in quality and my last pickup order this week was nearly 60$ wasted. The salmon on the nigiri and the salmon sashimi looked so weird and clearly not fresh. It was browning at the edges The texture of the fish was odd and the rice was dry. The roll I got was poorly assembled, the avocado really brown and did not taste fresh at all.
The last few times were similar with noticeable changes in the quality with attempts to cover it up. The pieces of fish in the rolls smaller but smothered in sauce. Avocado always brown, rice dry, and the rolls falling apart, not well made. I gave it several chances but this last one showed the attention to quality is gone and with the sketchy order I got and could not eat I will not be going back unless I hear that they've gone back to being as good as they used to. For the price I paid, none of it was worth it and you'd be better off with any of the other sushi places at this point. Did not eat the last order, my boyfriend ordered me some from another place to cheer me up and the difference was so noticeable.

The food here is absolutely amazing. We went in with 7 people and there wasn't anything close to a complaint. Everything was hot and fresh. The ingredients were high quality. I had a dream about it the night after. I think everyone who loves Asian food should eat here at least once.

First the take out containers with plastic for hot boiled soup this is very red flag should be for everyone 🚩
-I don’t recommend anyone order soup in plastic
Miso seafood soups for 9$ very disappointing full of onion i wish i order the regular miso for 2 $ instead waste of money.
-sushi is very delicious but little over priced
