I ordered something to be made gluten free on Door Dash. The restaurant staff called me immediately to let me know the pork wasn’t gluten free since it was marinated. They were able to switch it with chicken. I’m so thankful they called. They’re amazing!

It hurts me to say this but this is the first bad meal I’ve ever had after years of eating from J’s. I got pad Thai and veggie tempura, my pad Thai noodles were barely cooke, like crunchy at times, there was barely any sauce, so much it tastes like nothing. The veggie tempura was so over done some parts were black. Their signature sauce is not the same, incredibly disappointing to see from a spot with such a reputation.

Our excitement turned into frustration due to an incident that occurred during our visit.We were seated in a corner on the wooden benches, accompanied by our 2.5-year-old daughter who was naturally bubbly and excited about the celebration. While she was playfully tapping on the wooden bench, the owner/server approached us and, without any tact, exclaimed, "Stop it. This is a public place."The manner in which this was communicated was quite disconcerting, and we were taken aback by the owner's lack of understanding and consideration. Our daughter was not causing any disturbance with her actions, and we were disappointed that the situation was handled in such a harsh manner.As patrons who frequent family-friendly establishments, we were surprised and appalled by the owner's response. We understand the need for maintaining a peaceful environment but believe there are more polite and customer-friendly ways to address such situations, especially when children are involved.This incident has left a negative impression on our overall experience at J's Asian Kitchen (Northside), and we feel compelled to share our disappointment. As parents, we would have appreciated a more understanding and empathetic approach to ensure a pleasant dining experience for all customers.Looking back, I would hesitate to recommend your restaurant to families with children based on this unfortunate encounter. We went for dinner with our little daughter (2.5years old) on Northside location. I will say this place is not kids friendly. It was my husband’s birthday so my daughter was excited. She made some noise and one of the waiter’s was rude and told us not to make sound, it was disappointing for me and my husband as she was not that loud and this age toddlers talks. We just finished our dinner and left. I used to love their foods. But I will never go to this place and will not recommend who has kids.
Our go-to Asian restaurant in Fredericton! We love their Beef Pad Thai and Dynamite Rolls sushi. Plus, they treat us to their special cream puffs for free during checkout – a delightful bonus! ?

Wonderful people. Really kind and cautious about everyone's needs. They have followed all of my food instructions every single time. An absolute fan of their spicy seafood ramen, tiger roll, spicy California roll and miso soup. If you’re new in the city; definitely try their food ❤️
