I had my birthday dinner mid-May in Fredericton on a Friday night. I found it odd that there was barely anyone there. I normally love JJ’s. Although the service people were nice, out of 6 people, she screwed up 2 orders and another’s food was cold. We ordered 2 orders of chimi cheesecakes and both were burnt. Went to the bathroom, the walls and doors were scrapped down in patches to metal and my feet were sticking to the floor. The decor was stripped down to basically walls that took away from what was “Jungle Jim’s”.

Ouff….ssssssllllllloooooooooooowwwwwww service! Absolutely terrible. We arrived for table service for two. Sat rather promptly however we were about 10-15 minutes before our drink order was taken and only after the host noticed no one had been to our table yet…despite there only being two other tables in our section with two people each. We ordered our food and drinks at the same time. Drinks were quick to arrive. Wings were another 20 minutes…. By the time they arrived, our drinks were empty and we had left our glasses on the edge of the table for refills. We didn’t realize our server hadn’t taken them to refill and we began eating. By the time we were nearly done, they returned and we had to ask for refills. We finished up and it was another 20 minutes before they returned to even see if we were having dessert or ready for the bill. We are currently the only table in our section….unreal…I’m glad the wings were good. It was the only redeeming quality of this visit…

Went today for supper with my mother and mother in law. We had no wait to be served and drinks were great. The food when it arrived 45 minutes later was all cold. My garlic chicken rice bowl was cold, dry, and the vegetables were huge uncooked chunks. My mother’s fish tacos were cold and the vegetables weren’t cut either. The lettuce was in huge pieces not fit for a taco. My mother in laws Thai chicken tacos were the same, cold, with uncut veggies, and both had cold fries. The only saving grace of the trip was the dessert, and drinks which is hard to mess up. We appreciate the young server we had, she was kind, attentive, and apologetic. We have no plans of going back, very disappointed with the food.

We visit your restaurant today and very disappointed with the food and the service, we were a party of 4 and ordered a wrap, pulled pork, 2 piece fish and chips and a burger all with fries wile the server was quick with our drinks from the time we placed our food order until we got our food it took 30 min. While people who were seared after us and ordered after us go there food and finished before we got ours, when our food fi ally arrived the fries on top were somewhat warm the ones underneath were cold my husband's burger was half raw, my fish was placed o a bed of wilted lettuce, never I my life have I seen fish served on lettuce, the wedge of lemon looked like it had been recycled from another plate, when we did see our waitress she did remove my husband's burger from the bill as we didn't have another 30 min to wait, but with the lemon, cold fries, and several fries were black not burnt but spoiled black, was very disappointed, we have eaten there many times before and really enjoyed yhe food don't know what has changed but it was certainly not for the better. I went here and ordered a Alfredo pasta. They gave me the pasta but the sauce was off, it was more watery, whiter and stickier then normal I also saw chunks 🤮🤮

We stopped in with a few other friends for dinner - I ordered the Club. That was the worst club I have ever eaten - the bread was burnt, it looked like it was made a week ago. The cheese was dried out from sitting out so long. My wife's meal was cold. I asked for a second drink and didn't receive it but it showed up on my bill.
A friends meal had a piece of plastic in it. Another said hers was cold like it just came out of a refrigerator.
I think that has got to be the worst restaurant in Fredericton!

came in Sunday April 6th, was not a busy day whatsoever. yet the waitress figured she would take orders of people that came after me which prompted me to take my business and great tip elsewhere. thank you for nothing, will never be back

We took our daughter out to lunch, though we would go someplace different that was a mistake. We asked for a table, we got a booth, got up and moved to a table, had to move again because a pipe was leaking in the ceiling onto my husband. Got our food, every one of our plates were cold. The toast my husband had was more like croutons it was so dried out, eggs were cold, bacon was hard as a rock, coffee was supposed to be included got charged for it, his hash browns were good because they came after he was almost done and were fresh. My daughter and I got the fish & chips. Her fish was rubbery, both of our fries were cold, I actually bit into a frozen one, the coleslaw tasted like the cabbage was rotten. We told our server, Catrina who was absolutely amazing and felt terrible about what happened, sent the food back. I'm assuming the manager, came over apologized and wanted to know if we wanted order something else or dessert on the house. We politely declined. My husband finished his because he was hungry. Catrina came over told us the manager would take 50% off mine and my daughter's meal but that's all he would offer. She gave a tickets with a free surprise item inside but we would have to come back to use them. Needless to say we left them on the table and will not be back. This was one of the worse meals I think I've ever eaten. We ended up paying $41 for a meal we couldn't eat.

For what it's worth, if you decide to close at 9, a full half hour before it says online, without any notice of last call or anything else, it would be a lot better to just update your hours. Reflects poorly on the Jungle Jims brand.

Not sure what happened to this restaurant but it’s such a shame it’s gone downhill so badly!!! The second time in a row is decision made not to go back….. last two times the “appetizers” came out with the meal, wrong meal served by the time we got the food and the scallops with the surf and turf was offensive to be served to anyone… all dried up, used to be 4 per skewer, now 2 (not that it matters). Manager came and offered the soup and desert as complimentary lol only things that were fit to eat….. last $158 they will get from me…. Too bad to see that as I used to enjoy their meals. Waited 20 mins to pay… and we were the only people there at supper hour… that in itself is enough said

The server while sweet did not listen to the requests for the food. My mother who had Allergies was unable to eat her main meal after explicitly telling the server.
