We dropped by The Lighthouse for a laid-back afternoon bite, and let’s just say—it hit all the right notes. The drinks were top-tier, with a strong showing of local selections that elevated the whole vibe (though a splash of York County Cider on the menu would’ve been the cherry on top).

Great view of the river from the south side and great patio. Easily accessible from Queen street. Friendly staff however service was a bit slow. (I think they had a large table that caused some back up). We had the tuna poke bowl which was fairly meh, and didn't seem very traditional. Had the lobster roll, which was fine, but nowhere near worth it at $36.

Overall good, but I would recommend a lot of adjacent restaurants before this one.
Perfect spot to have a beer. No stout styles, but some great ales and lagers, fresh and tasty cider can also be found here. Service is really nice. It's affordable and the view is amazing. A perfect stop if you plan to hike near St. John River.
