Definitely the best Chinese restaurant in town. A must go place if you ever travel to downtown. Try the GuoBaoRou. It is just so authentic and delicious. Service was also good.

This is my go to place since moving here for Chinese food. Good food for a decent price. Would totally recommend!! I gave 1 star for atmosphere as I have never dined in, so I’m not aware of the type of atmosphere there.

Seated quickly, however waited a while before our drinks were ordered and brought. The beer is $5.25 a bottle but was served warm. Finally the food was ordered. We wanted a small dish to share as we were doing some restraunt hopping. We ordered a single large weet and sour soup. The waitress warned us it was small and we agreed that we wanted something small. She then asked if we wanted it with noodles or something else that I didn't hear. We agreed. The dish should have been $7.69.When we finally got the dish it was much bigger than we were expecting. The dish was very lack, it tasted very basic. The tofu was cut too large in strips and was too soft for the dish. The noodles were a little over cooked. There was a savory flavour that was missing. The waitress came with the bill before asking if we wanted to order anything else. She acted as if the bill would be a suprise to us as she placed it down infront of my partner and started explaining it line by line. She came to the dish we ordered, $17$10 more just for overcooked noodles that we were not told would cost extra. She asked if we wanted noodles as if it was an option for the $7.69 menu item. No mention of it being extra when we ordered. She explained that the dish she brought us with noodles was a main meal and not the large soup that we actually wanted. We paid for our warm beers and a meal $10 more than what we actually ordered. We couldn't finish the whole dish of course, and I asked for a to-go container. After waiting for the container, instead of letting me pack it myself she leaned into my space and packed it herself. I found her attitude after we noticed the bill to be short but that's my perception.I would not recommend going there unless you want supermarket quality Asian food for more money than it's worth. It's not even that bad of prices, it's just that the quality, flavour is so low. I could have made the dish at home faster and cheaper and without the bad service.

This was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I ordered food twice from this restaurant, the first time they forgot a part of our pickup order. They barely owned up to it, ask me to prove it by showing my receipt. Had to drive back there.. food was cold and soggy by the time we ate it.My second experience was for a delivery through skip the dishes. The estimated delivery time was 1 hour. We waited the whole hour with no updates on our delivery status. I called the restaurant, they told me the food as been ready for awhile but hadn’t communicated with skip the dishes yet. After 1.5 hours of wait, I drove to the restaurant to try and settle this. I saw my food was sitting in an open cooler bag, not even under heat lamps. The restaurant took no ownership of this poor experience and refused to prepare a fresh order. Our food was cold and old at this point. The whole experience took 2 hours and I walked away empty handed. They clearly do not care about the customer experience, said it was skip the dishes fault.Never going there again.

Waitress was awkward and unfriendly the pork was sour in our rice and there was a bone in the rice (longer special rice) left disgusted and disappointed. They didn't offer us take out containers or ask how anything was and barely got a discount for the spoiled meat. Will not be returning.
