Great coffee. Local. Appreciate the extra seating when I need to grab a table to work. One of my favourites!

I hired Mill Town to cater my cocktail style wedding reception this past September. The staff was helpful, responsible and communicative leading up to the wedding. They were flexible with our choices and worked with the budget we had. The snacks were excellent and I received many compliments from guests. I would highly recommend their catering for hors d'oeuvres!
Cozy and delicious!
Mill Town Roasters is a very charming and cozy coffee spot in downtown. The coffee is excellent, and they have a great selection of fresh pastries and sandwiches. Everything tastes homemade and high quality.
A lovely place to stop by for a good coffee and a bite. Highly recommend!

I visited a few years ago and was impressed enough to still be buying my coffee beans, out of province, from them since! I love their seasonal roasts.

Unfortunately, our visit to Mill Town Roasters was very disappointing. I was visiting the city and decided to stop by the café with a friend, but the first impression was terrible — right at the entrance, the main view was a bin overflowing with dirty cups, plates, and utensils. It seemed that no one was responsible for cleaning it up, while the staff chatted among themselves without showing any interest in welcoming guests or presenting the place.
When I asked about the drinks, the person at the counter looked tired and unwilling to explain, so I basically had to guess what to order. Even though we ordered several beverages and some food — both sweet and savoury — everything tasted reheated, lacked freshness, and wasn’t appealing at all.
The service felt disorganized and unprofessional: they called out orders randomly, like in a cafeteria line, leaving customers to guess which one was theirs. You also have to pick up your own items, find a table — most of which were dirty — and essentially do all the work yourself.
The environment needs serious attention. Dirty tables, disengaged staff, and no sense of hospitality. Meanwhile, some employees were taking photos to update the café’s own social-media pages instead of serving customers. For the prices they charge, the experience was unacceptable.
I do not recommend Mill Town Roasters. The café needs to completely rethink what good service means — especially when it comes to coffee, which should be a short but memorable experience. Here, everything felt lifeless: the drinks, the food, and the service. One of the worst café experiences I’ve had, and I truly hope they take this feedback seriously to improve.

Cruised into Fredricton on a sleepy holiday Monday morning. Perfect cup of coffee with a great donut. Clean. Funky hipster clientele. Nice!

Great coffee and and a nice atmosphere for work or study. The radio was a bit loud.
We had 2 Chai Latte’s, they were far too sweet, tasted like a sugary drink. We also ordered a Chicken Focaccia, which was well over toasted. The service was also not great.
