Good food, big portions and great price. The noodles were great. Ambiance? It's a mall food court.

Wheelchair accessibility: It's in a mall food court so very accessible

Shan is a top notch place to go for meals when in the down town area. ( Worth making the trip also for that matter ) Food is always fresh and absolutely delicious. And the prices. Best price if you want a huge bang for your buck. The portion size for dollar value is tremendously large. the fine gentleman that do work here are super friendly and always willing to adjust there serving to best accomodate everyone. Should have 5 Stars on front of there booth if you ask me.

Guy st the counter was super nice. Great service. Portion size was great for the cost. But man, I have never, EVER had such bland chinese food. Such a nicely colored fried rice that tasted like literally nothing. Fried chicken with the sweet and spicy sauce was okay, but it was a puffy tempura batter and the chicken was nearly non existent. Felt like a bunch of puffed up tenkasu in sauce. Kungpao chicken was just a weird taste, chicken was minced almost. Some gristle. Shame, was really looking forward to trying it.

Smells amazing entering the mall at lunch. I was excited to try it but was very dissaoininted, especially with the good reviews. Maybe I went on an off day, but I found it very bland. I didn't end up eating 1/2 of it. Shared it with my partner who agreed it wasn't very good.. Spicy chicken was bitter tasting. Very little meat in beef and broccoli... didn't taste that great either. Noodles were bland...

The place has a good selection of food and sauces, serves quickly at a reasonable price. The food tastes good overall as well <3

new years place

Look, there is no denying that Shan is the place to go if you're craving noodles and fried chicken at lunch time. "Perfectly golden" is the only phrase I have to describe their deep fried chicken. And the noodles are just so divine. It makes for a perfect meal.

Update: Shan is now open again and the food is just as tasty as always!Very good food and friendly staff, but they have been closed down for the last week due to a red health inspection. Hope they straighten things out and open again.

As the entire food court in Kings Place is still takeout only, all the shops within have no seating. This makes it a great place to go for quick takeout. Shan especially as the food re-heats well, so you can get enough for dinner too. The food is your standard North American Chinese food options such as fried chicken with either cherry or Lemon sauce, beef broccoli, noodles, rice, kung pao chicken and more. The price here though easily makes Shan one of the best bangs for your buck in the whole city. The staff are always very friendly here too.
