I love St. Mary’s grocery. Their bakery items are better than any other grocery around. The prices are good and the staff very friendly.

I have been coming here for years but recently at random times you have a security guard who insists that bags be left on an unsecured rack near the front door. I understand your need for security but it's not right to put your customers things at risk of theft just because you have some shoplifters. I was also informed that your store takes no responsibility for theft of these unsecured bags. Look you can have any policy you like but legally you are responsible because you are the ones putting customers things at risk, not the customer. I have no problem leaving my bag in a secured area but you are responsible for providing that security. You have a second counter near where the cooked chicken is, why not put the bags there and then have staff retrieve the bags. I know it's more work but if your going to insist on this policy you are responsible for securing customers things.

Selection was good. The fruits and vegetables were limited and not always fresh. Meats were questionable.
Staff is always helpful and friendly.
