STMR.36 BBQ and Social

I didn’t find the menu to be Personally, appealing only because I’m an extremely healthy eater and I’m vegetarian. However, my coworker did find a lot of items that were interesting to him On the menu.

We did decide to only stay for an app and a drink. We got the buffalo cauliflower appetizer, and we both agreed they were extremely greasy, but otherwise tasty.

The drink selection and the view seems to be the best part here. The interior seating has really cool vibes too.

STMR.36 is a fun, lively spot in Fredericton with generous portions and a modern vibe, though the BBQ doesn’t always deliver that deep smoky flavour you’d hope for. Unfortunately, the last two times we were in, we were really looking forward to their very delicious house-made sausages—but they weren’t available. Bit of a bummer. Still, it’s a decent choice for a casual meal and a good drink with friends, just manage your expectations if you’re chasing true BBQ.

Last 3 times I have been here the wait for food has been over 2 hrs… this morning pretty quiet, waited an hour 15 minutes.

Noise level was absolutely horrible, couldn't even have a conversation with my party, our waitress was not present at all I could clearly see her just standing around ,the food was absolutely terrible I can make ribs wayyyyyy better at home then waste the 100 dollars for a crap experience, I will not be returning I highly recommend montanas up town is fantastic

I don't remember our servers name but he was PHENOMENAL. We had a lovely time. He served us inside then was super accommodating when we wanted to sit outside.

Highly recommend this restaurant as well as the Delta Fredericton for your stay. At the STMR.36 restaurant, the Friday evening vibe was just awesome, live music, hopping/busy, and the food was beyond delicious! For breakfast, Larisa was our server and she was pure delight!! Attentive and friendly, I give her top rating plus plus!! We will be back!!!

I don't mind paying good money for food as long as food and service is good however after I advised it was my 4 year anniversary the food and service was disappointing as cold food and no table service was supplied.

There is a great balance between quality and price; the food is tasty, and the portions are huge. Considering the portion size, I find it reasonably priced.

There was a tremendous amount of excellent prepared food satisfying various tastebuds The service was quick and efficient You won't leave hungry

We decided to have the tomahawk steak & unfortunately It was very underwhelming. Basically a fatty roast. We're have never gad a bad meal here before, but this time it was off. My twice baked was dry , the mashed were cold and the carrots were not enough to share. My son had the badass burger and it was awesome! The restaurant is also really loud, it could use with some more soft surfaces to absorb the noise. We will be back, just will not order the tomahawk...

First time in food was very disappointing 🤢

My family arrived at 7pm on a Saturday. My wife and son both ordered steaks and I ordered ribs. Now it was busy when we arrived but 30 min later the restaurant had died down and was quite quiet. I say this because our food arrived at 745 pm. Immediately after the food arrive the waitress commented that it looked like the line cooks messed up the order (the sides had been switched on the plates). My wife and son both cut into their steaks and found that they indeed plate the wrong food. She rushed off and came back and brought an empty third plate and instructed my wife and son to swap their sides and steaks. Which they did only to find both steaks were undercooked (well done and medium steaks were actually medium rare and blue rare). Not wanting to wait longer my wife asked the steak be taken back and removed from the bill, unsure of what to do fetched the kitchen manager. They both returned and counter offered with, "we will take that steak back and just put it back on the grill." My wife refused and the staff argued the point, noting that both steaks were undercooked but simply throwing cut up steak would be an acceptable solution. Again my wife had to hold her ground and refused to be served a steak that had already been cut into. After a silent stand off the staff backed down and removed the now chilled bisected from the table. They asked my son if he was OK with a reheated steak, and he declined (he was uncomfortable with the whole situation and felt complaining would have made it worse, instead just didn't eat the steak). The waitress then returned with the bill, my wife's steak was removed from the bill and we left. **Usually Stmr.36 is a great restaurant, lately their service has been very poor. I've gone there through work functions and employees had had incorrect meals, overcharging/missing items or completely forgetting to make an order. The whole issue tonight could have simply been fixed with the chef using a meat thermometer on the grill and checking an order before it leaves the kitchen. These are two very basic practices that all professional kitchens have in place. For what is considered a premier restaurant to not properly check food temperature or whether an order is correct is very concerning. I highly suggest that the management reviews these basic skills with their staff.

Amazing breakfast and exceptional service from Larisa! She made the whole experience great and I left full from the yummy food and with a giant smile because of her wonderful service!
