STMR.36 BBQ and Social

Ordered a prime rib steak.. half of it was a lard of fat. Spent over $180. Not worth it. A guy at the bar kept screaming at the bartender loud as hell for a special drink.

Outstanding food, and large portions . We had the Pit Boss and brought home our leftovers. Would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for superb service, drinks and a fun atmosphere!

The service, food quality and time with friends was excellent. The noise level in the restaurant was very loud so it took a bit away from the overall experience. I would definitely go back for breakfast as you get great value for the price.

I'll start off by saying that STMR36 is mine and my husband's favorite restaurant in town. We went for his birthday, looking forward to some steak and parmesan sweet potato fries... well... there weren't any sweet potato fries- they were out (very disappointed... who runs out of frozen food?) The Mac n cheese is always amazing and we ended up getting fries with the parmesan and herb topping which was really good and a compromise to not having sweet potato fries. Thankfully we were not in a hurry as it took an hour to get food, but, like I said, not in a hurry so it was okay. We highly praise and recommend STMR36 to anyone looking for amazing food and drinks!

Had a great time celebrating a birthday. The food was delicious as always and the service was just as great. Definitely one of our favourite spot in town.

I just had the best breakfast I think I've ever had. Everything was delicious, the portion size was huge. The best part was the incredible service we received from, Larisa. Absolutely the best server I have had in at least a decade. She was so nice, so attentive, and just made a great meal into a next level one. We will return and she made us really want to!

The servers were very nice but the actual service was very slow. the food was long coming out of the kitchen. The place was not busy. We were seated right away and waited on right away but it took a good 30 minutes before we were served with our food, which wasn't anything special or difficult to throw together. Made no sense, I had a salad, I didn't want goat cheese so asked for feta, they had none so didn't even offer any other type of cheese. My husband's chowder was tasteless and cool, had to send it back for a reheat and the biscuits that came with it were dry almost stale. It was our Son's 50th and his sandwich was fine, just fine, not great. Our granddaughter had a nice sandwich on sour dough and the fries were good she said. So out of 4 we had one happy with their food. Needless to say we will not attend STMR 36 again. Oh, as well I had made a reservation which couldn't be found, but that wasn't a problem and they were able to seat us right away.

Excellent service and atmosphere, but the food isn't good. Not a lot of taste to chicken, heavy food options, braised rib had a lot of fat.

Great food! Great service. Larissa allegedly makes amazing Hollandaise sauce.

This is my second time coming to this spot and I have to say that it has some of the best food in Fredericton. I ordered the Pit Boss Platter with my girlfriend and was once again amazed at the portions. All the meats were very tasty however the brisket was a little cold; I overlooked this however as it still tasted great. The whipped potatoes once again were glorious and the mac and cheese was very creamy. The service was very good and the atmosphere is also very nice. I highly recommend this place to any one living in the Fredericton area.

I am made sincerely uncomfortable by how staff here are treated by their management. I've dined here twice and both times our servers were worked into the ground and with no support. I witnessed one server with tears running down her face. When we mentioned it to our own server and asked if we should alert management they asked us not to because all blame would fall onto the servers. What an incredible shame. Sounds like there's a lack of accountability. I've heard rumors of this place being an awful work environment for as long as it has been open and that confirmed it for me.

I can't believe this circus has been allowed to operate for this long. John and Greg need to be reprimanded and reassigned immediately.

Also there are rodents running rampant in this building including under my table along the windows.

I no longer will support this place and feel incredible pity for the waitstaff.

The food was excellent. Our server was very nice and prompt with drinks. Only downside was one of my friends ordered an appetizer to start and it was never delivered (also didn't show on the bill so must have forgot to enter it.) We were still VERY well fed without it.

Parking: Some spots are only for the hotel, but there is overflow parking

Very poor,fries only warm for both of us.Lunch menu limited and we almost walked.
Come on,really nice restaurant,get some she's please.

Had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! While it was a bit noisy for my taste, everything else exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. They accidentally booked us at the wrong table but went above and beyond by covering our first round of shots as a gesture of hospitality. I really appreciated their attentiveness and would definitely come back!
