Our food was 45 minutes late, was cold and soggy. They also had our drinks incorrect and hung up on us when we called to ask if our order had been picked up. This is the second time going to Taco Boyz, one uptown and one downtown and both were horrible.

Come here every Friday for lunch with work 4 or 5 of us, we come at 1140 to beat the rush. Today, we sit and wait over 10 minutes awhile the staff put together a large online order, while there are now 10 people waiting in person but the online order is their only priority. We will be going to smythe st next week.

After seeing bad reviews I was pleasantly suprised! The Battered Cod Bowl was really good! They have loaded of things to add to it as well as sauces. I loved the Candied Habenaro sauce. So I bought a bottle! My friend had the Battered Shrimp bowl. He loved it too!!! So much yummy flavor!

Wanted to highly recommend a Fredericton restaurant I just tried today! Literally the best tacos I've ever had. Taco Boyz Fredericton. Right by Montanas. I was there picking up a donation they were kind enough to give to the SPCA auction and saw they had take-home family packs. Enough for six people. You can get beef, chicken, vegetarian and all these amazing toppings and sauces of your choice. I chose a sweet, dark salsa and it was wow!! The taco shells were made of corn flour and so light and crispy and are Gluten friendly so that was amazing!! Their nachos are gluten friendly ( gluten-free, gluten free ) for the google search engine. Everyone in the house LOVED it, new regular place. Great for parents rushing to take their kids to lessons and sports, healthy easy dinner!
Vegetarian options: yes, they offer rice and bean fillings instead of meat but also have amazing fresh veggies, salsas and guacamole.
Dietary restrictions: So nice to find a new gluten friendly place!! ( gluten free , gluten-free ) that tastes so fresh, unique, amazing and is a healthy choice. Im not sure how it would be for celiac for someone with extreme sensitivity for cross contamination but for wheat allergies and gluten senstivities, amazing!!

I went to Taco Boys, excited for a good meal, but instead, I got a rude awakening. From the moment I placed my order, it was a mess. First, they didn’t bother telling me they were out of basic ingredients like ground beef and lettuce until after I had ordered. And even when I asked about it, they seemed annoyed, brushing it off by saying they didn’t want to get more because they were "closing soon."
Excuse me? It was over an hour until closing time! The restaurant wasn’t closing that soon, but clearly, the employees were checked out and unwilling to do their jobs. It’s one thing if something is out, but at least warn customers or offer an alternative! I ended up with something I barely wanted, and they still charged the usual $2 extra for guac—because, of course, they’d never be out of that, right?
Taco Boys needs to either hire staff that cares about their customers or train the ones they have to do better. Save your money and go somewhere else; this place isn’t worth the hassle!
