My first visit, I had higher expectations from feedback from friends. Decided to try it out while doing some work. The waiter I had was very rude and made me feel very unwelcome. There was another waitress that didn’t serve me but I wish she was because she was much more pleasant to speak to.
Also much pricier than expected and limited coffee options given it being a cafe. Very dissatisfied and won’t be returning.

Incorrect closing hours, online and on the door. Our meals kinda tasted like dog food

Burton lacked professionalism and common courtesy. Hate to give a bad review to a fellow local small business, but the owner and other should be aware.
Stopped in on our way home from vacation and had a great much needed meal. The Bean burger and especially the Caesar salad was fantastic!

Great music downstairs and great people
Stoped in for a quick bit while on a road trip to one of the only (if not only) vegan restaurants in Fredrickson. Such nice staff, ordered the lentil meatball panini with peanut butter tomato soup, cajun ‘chicken’ burrito, pumpkin spice chocolate chip cookies and a slice of the peanut butter chocolate cake. The panini was phenomenal, so simple yet delicious. Loved the use of lentils and the melted cheese was so warm and comforting, not to mention the crispy bread and how big the sandwich was. I was a bit hesitant about peanut butter tomato soup but was pleasantly surprised, it worked so well together I’m gonna try to make my own version at home. I didn’t have the burrito but the person did said it was good. The cookies were good but the cake was the best. I would highly recommend the peanut butter chocolate cake to finish off the meal. Service was friendly and fast and the cafe was so cute! I don’t know when the next time I’ll be in Fredrickson is but if I do come back I’ll be sure to stop in.
I ordered the special which was a Cajun “CHN” club panini. Very satisfying, perfectly toasted, and creamy inside with lots of flavour. Came with a roasted red pepper soup which was also delicious, and a pickle. They had a beautiful vegan dessert selection so I will have to come back another time to try their sweets. Local art for sale on display. Order at the counter and they bring your food to your table.

Great experience, great food. I will definitely be coming back!
I dream of their food. Especially their pulled pork jackfruit.
We stopped here for lunch on vacation. The food was amazing and the price was good. I would definitely visit again.

Very disappointed. As a vegan, and the outrageous cost of vegan food for some reason, you expect outstanding food. I asked on ordering about the spiciness of the food there, and was told that none is spicy. I ordered the garlic bowl, for one, it tasted more strong soy flavor, no garlic flavor.. and it was spicy! I am unable to eat anything spicy. The rice tasted old, and microwaved. Not impressed, and not recommended.
