Great place to eat. Friendly staff & very fast service. Food tastes great. Last time we went there, it was after 6pm & I was disappointed with the fries though. They were just baked in the oven like you would at home. Had to order a side of gravy, (which I never get)just to give them some taste. Perhaps it's a sign I should have ordered something else. The ambience was amazing filled with so many historic pieces on the walls. The place is from 1948 and it's a great feeling of being part of history. The bread pudding was the best part of it, the warm cinnamon roll with cream was like a warm hug from my grandmother.
If you're looking for a true old school diner in Fredericton this is it. Fod was food and portions were decent. It was full the day we visited so the server was busy, but nice. It was a hot day in Fredericton and the AC couldn't quite keep up with keeping the place cool, but that didn't deter me from ordering hot coffee. Some neat things to look at on the walls.
