The atmosphere is romantic and quiet, making it perfect for a date or a relaxing evening. It's a good pub food spot with a unique take on setting up a brew pub for success. The patio was fantastic, and the separate ordering locations for food, ice cream, and alcohol, as well as a local coffee shop inside the taphouse, contribute to its good local following. The food and drinks were top-notch, with options like loaded fries, chicken fingers, a burger and fries, and a chicken burger. While it can get chaotic on weekends, it's best to visit during quiet hours for a pleasant experience. The food from 540 was sometimes mediocre, with pulled pork tacos being lukewarm, but service was quick.
