The Provincial Reviews
The Provincial really brought their A game for our get together, beautiful space, great drinks, tasty food, awesome service!
Our server Abbey along with the rest of the staff were awesome!
Thank you so much for an incredible evening.
I have been to the Provincial many times and alway found it to be fantastic, but for the first time I am so incredibly disappointed. I had the Fried Gnocchi and it was the most disappointed I've been, it was not only very basic and not much flavor it's was $32 for a plate best served as a small appetizer, maybe.
Unable to make 5+ of the signature cocktails at 7pm as they had run out of syrups. Took 30 minutes for drinks to arrive, appetizer came before drinks, mains were ok...pork belly was over seared, dessert was very overcooked and dry, hard, almost needed a knife for the brownie.
Atmosphere, the music was 2000s tops hits and a few levels too loud to have much conversation. Not a great date spot.
Plus side it wasn't very busy and it was clean.

The Provincial is a must-visit restaurant in Fredericton, offering exceptional gourmet meals that will leave diners amazed. The beautiful space enhances the experience, complemented by great drinks and tasty food. From the perfectly attentive service to the delicious mocktails and creative cocktails, this place has it all. The menu boasts out-of-this-world appetizers like bacon-wrapped scallops and a highly recommended bao buns appetizer, along with delightful mains such as lamb shank and halibut that feature perfect flavor combinations. The desserts, including a hazelnut brownie trifle and the homemade strawberry shortcake, are just as incredible. The staff is lovely, with special mentions of Abbey and Amanda, whose extraordinary service and great recommendations enhance the experience. While the menu offers something for every taste, it would be great if there were more vegetarian options, such as the delicious grilled gnocchi. The owners' involvement in every aspect shines through, making the dining experience even more magnificent. Whether locals or visitors, The Provincial is the place to go for an unforgettable dining experience that feels like home, especially on weekends late at night.
