I’m not sure when this happened but the tragically maple cream cheese used to be amazing and smooth with tiny little bacon bits but now it’s just plain cream cheese with chunk of bacon fat in it? It’s a shame. Coffee is still good but please bring back the old cream cheese recipe.
I visit this cafe often but lately I've been quite disappointed at the service. The baristas seem quite friendly with people they know personally but they seem to be quite careless to other customers. Every time I sit in the cafe the tables are always dirty which is fine but the staff seem unhappy if I ask to have it cleaned or even offer to do it myself. Today I received my coffee without a lid and didn't even bother to ask. I frequent local cafes in town but this one...
We arrived to no one at the cash. We were planning on decaf americanos and a pastry. There were no pastries available and the decafs are a premium of an extra dollar. With 4 shots in my small cup the coffee was very good.
Atmosphere was anything but cozy as the temperature was freezing in the cafe despite being a pleasant 22 outside. In my opinion they are overrated
