Terribly slow service.Had 4:30 reservation today Dec 5,2025.Finally canceled my desert order about 6:15, tired of waiting and left.Not usually like this but hope this review makes it to the man. Needs attention.
Ordered the steak , medium rare. It was 1/4inch thick and well done. Our waitress ordered a new one. She was kind and apologetic. Another waitress brought it out dropped it on the table and walked away. Didn't take the old one away and not even a word to us. It was cooked the same. Our waitress again kind, asked if there was anything she could do and took it off of our bill. We left after paying for my husband's meal. Very disappointed as it was a very special anniversary for us. We traveled 11/2hrs to dine here. We won't be returning.

We arrived and quickly seated to our reserved table. The waitress was very nice and professional. Our food arrived hot and looked very appetizing. This has become our favorite place to go when we are in the capital. Our sister was home from Alberta so my wide and I thought this is the only place to take her and my other sister and nephew to enjoy an amazing meal. Hats off to there chef. We will be back again on our anniversary, we had told our waitress we were also there because we didn't get up for our anniversary this year like we usually do. So it was nice to celebrate. A little late but celebrating belated we would. And so after our meal the waitress surprised my wife and I with a delicious chocolate dessert and hers was a gluten free dessert. There staff are number one. Thank you so much for your service.

Small, intimate setting. Not a lot of tables so make a reservation in advance as it seems to be a popular place. Entrees were fantastic, bowl of soup appetizer was lukewarm and obviously reheated. Server Jodi was amazing, and made the evening more enjoyable. We would recommend that when guests arrive, the host, actually shows them to their table instead of pointing in the general direction and self seating. A small act of professionaliam goes a long way. We would visit again if in the area.

Underwhelmed, have been here several times in the past and has been excellent. This time however the clams were cold and flavourless with a side of caesar salad seemingly from a bag. The maple curry penne was good but nothing an average person can’t make at home and be equally satisfied with. Wait staff was nice and courteous which definitely helped matters, definitely miss the bannock though. All in all not worth $30 a plate for small portions.

Our service today started very, very slow. When we got seated, we were practically ignored for 15 minutes and didn't even get to talk to a server about ordering or any questions. Once we got our apps, I though things might start to turn around, but I was dead wrong. We ended up having to wait 1 and a half hours on the windy patio, and once again didn't see any staff whatsoever for the whole wait, which we felt was unreasonable. Finally, the food was only decent, with most items being over seasoned or somewhat bland. Overall, I would not recommend coming here, unless you have a lot time to burn on your hands. Infact, this experience derailed me and my family's night visiting the area, and we will not be coming back next time we are in Fredericton.

Our server was outstanding, the menu was amazing, our meals were so so so delicious... I highly recommend this restaurant for it's staff, ambiance, and most of all for the superb food.

Had dinner here last night with my family and it was fantastic! We started with the calamari appetizer which was amazing, and for entrées we had the lobster dinner and the seafood fettuccine — both were outstanding.
Unfortunately, while we were dining, we witnessed a very unpleasant situation with another table. Despite staff checking in on them multiple times and being told everything was fine, the guests ate their entire meals and then became verbally aggressive, demanding their food be removed from the bill. When the staff politely explained that wasn’t possible, the guests argued further and eventually left without paying. It’s a shame that some people can act that way towards the staff and their service. Remember, everyone is always trying their best!
Overall, I was so impressed with how calm and professional the staff remained while handling such difficult people. It really showed the high standard of service here. Great food, great atmosphere, and a staff that truly goes above and beyond. Highly recommend!
If we could give zero stars we would. This was an absolute disastrous dining experience. We ordered the surf and turf because we had been told by locals it was the best place to get fresh lobster. The lobster, prawns and scallops were completely cold. We told our server right away, unhappily she took our plate away, only to bring it back microwaved! The seafood was rubbery and the medium rare steak over cooked due to microwaving! We complained three times. Staff did absolutely nothing! My husband who was starving by now ate some of the meal because we didn't think staff would do anything for us. We were right!! We told them the meal was disgusting and we refused to finish eating. Several staff members came to our table to argue with us, saying no manager on duty and that we would have to take it up with them tomorrow!! Unreal, all staff should be fired, we have NEVER been treated so poorly!
