Took my sister-in-law there for her birthday today. Had been there two years ago and was pleased with their service but today not so much. Had to ask for out tea and I was almost done my sandwich which was chicken salad but they used then heels of the bread.. I realize they are students running it but maybe need a bit more training. The whipped cream was runny as it was left out in the heat. Would I go back maybe.

Delightful!! We had a the chice of home made sandwich, even asked if I wanted celery and green onion in the mix, chice of soup homemade soup or salad, amazing desserts with your choice fresh fruit a and whipped cream and of course your choice of tea in a lovely old teapot. All for $20.00. The staff are volunteers except for the charming server.
Food great. Very fresh.
A lovely place to visit and experience proper tea. Reservations in advance are mandatory. You can choose from freshly made sandwiches, desserts, and of course, tea. Highly recommended.
Looks like a nice place but it seems if you don't make a reservation you won't get to have tea there. It's a tea shop not a restaurant so turning good paying customers away seems very silly. Not sure if it is worth the effort to go again.
I should have made a reservation, Small cottage with very limited seating. I went alone they put me on the back porch. I had take a chair off the stack and set it at the patio table myself. They only take cash. Server was pleasant.
