It has the entire package, the location, the beautiful scenery, the atmosphere, their incredible staff and don't even get me started on how amazing the food is! Everything is fresh, never frozen, and always perfectly prepared. My husband and I go every weekend we can! Oh, and don't forget to order dessert, they are to die for! 🤤❤️🤤 Highly recommend. 10/10!!! 🥂🥗🍽🍺🍰⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I drove from Halifax and needed a sweet treat and seen a crème brûlée latte posted online. I just knew I needed to stop in. The barn is absolutely adorable and so welcoming. There were so many options for fudge and the woman behind the counter had so much patience as I decided my 6 flavors. I went up to grab a latte and the very sweet guy told me getting it iced was very popular. I got into the car with my latte and fudge and just felt happy. One sip of my latte and my life was instantly better. I am extremely fussy with coffee drinks but this was truly amazing. Great job everyone! ❤️ I really hope the crème brûlée makes its way on the menu.”

“We aren't local but try to get to this restaurant a few times a year. Every time we've gone we've never been disappointed. The food presentation is beautiful 😍 everything is so fresh. And the flavors are equally incredible. Restaurant is beautifully decorated and cozy. My go to is mostly the Big crunch salad... omg yum!! we've recently tried one of their poutines that had cheddar cheese on it. I was skeptical but it was delicious. I'm super fussy with gravy and theirs is perfect. I highly recommend Taste and See.”

“We have been to Sussex Ale works 3X this summer while visiting Sussex and I highly recommend. Nice selection and great service. We have had the pleasure of Scott waiting on us each time and he makes our visits very enjoyable. Also it’s dog friendly.”

“While travelling between Halifax and Saint John we needed some supper so we stopped at Dixie Lee in Sussex. We walked in 45 minutes before closing time. I said before ordering that we would be quick. Wendy took our order and said to take our time. She was so pleasant making suggestions and not rushed at all. Our food came right up very fast and she brought it to our table. Wendy and the staff (we believe was her boss) were so friendly with the customers and each other. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat. We highly recommend them!!

“I've been to the Mule several times and after multiple mishaps I have zero desire to go back. Its so clearly obvious the kitchen staff doesn't care. The only consistent thing about the mule is how wildly inconsistent the food is. 40 to 50 percent of the time the kitchen messes up orders. Tonight's service is the final straw. We ordered a pound of boneless wings with sauce on them. When the wings came out there was a tiny cup of sauce on the side. Not nearly enough to cover a pound of wings, plus not what we asked for. The server left so fast and never came back to check on us. We waited about 15 minutes before we finally flagged the waitress down. After waiting and having to call her over we still had to wait another 5 minutes for her to fix our issue because she had to put another order in, because the kitchen would be mad if she didn't do it fast. Ridiculous. Couple more minutes later our wings were tossed in sauce like they should have been in the first place. Ice cold because we had waited over 20 minutes for them to be served how we asked them to be. The wings were cold, chewy and the breading tasted burnt. The table next to us got their meals served in take out containers. The waitress even said to the table, "sorry not sure why they put them in take out boxes." Funny the waitress never came to check on us but about 10-15 minutes into eating quickly gave us the bill, took a plate we weren't done with and shoved us out. Totally rude, embarrassing service. We wouldn't have had to be pushed out if our meal was prepared properly the FIRST time. But thats how the Mules kitchen staff operates. I feel almost bad for the waitresses how awful the kitchen staff is. It's embarrassing. 3 separate occasions I've been to the Mule my fries have been served undercooked. Numerous times meals have been cold. Roughly a month or two ago me and my partner ordered boneless wings. There was us and one other person in the mule at time. The waitress came out with our food and said, "the kitchen messed up, is bone in ok?" I said no. She gave us the bone in one's for free. But so what? If we said we were fine with bone in they would have made us pay for them? That's ridiculous. We shouldn't have been served something the kitchen got wrong. I paid 51 dollars tonight for some nachos, a beer and pop, and chewy cold wings that we couldn't even enjoy with our nachos. Service sucks. The kitchen staff is horrible. I shouldn't have had to pay full price for cold food that was presented to me wrong. I'm tired of this place. They have full potential to be a good place, but choose to be consistently lazy.”

Bought a farmer’s wrap with no sauce after leaving Sussex on bike started feeling nauseous and in silver fox truck stop got sick like hell so recommended that you be careful in Sussex Tim Horton!!”

Great service great food! 5 Stars! Blooming onion was so good and the burger was spot on. I had the Lipsmacking Smokin Mule, my wife had the Mule Chicken Burger.”
