“My wife and I moved to Greater Moncton about 4 months ago from Toronto. One of the great things about Toronto is the limitless choice of food from diverse cultures. Among others, we love Jamaican cuisine (shout out to Steady's on Pape Ave. and Simone's on the Danforth). So today we decided to drive to Riverview and try Spicy Grillz and grab food to go. I can't overstate how good this food was. It was phenomenal. We had the jerk chicken (spicy) and the oxtail. We got it with rice and peas and the fried dumplings. Outstanding. And the folks behind the counter were amazing. Walked us through the menu, asked us what spice level we wanted, and gave us a little taste of something we didn't order; but will next time.100% five stars.”
“Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine at Its Finest! Mai Thi on Riverview, Moncton, delivers delectable and flavorful dishes that truly capture the essence of Vietnamese cuisine. The food’s rich flavors left a lasting impression, highlighting their dedication to authenticity.Their specialty dishes, especially the Banh Mi BBQ, are an absolute delight; you’ll never go wrong ordering them. What’s more, the bread used for the Banh Mi BBQ is homemade, adding an extra layer of authenticity and flavor to the experience. However, one minor downside I noticed was the lack of an exhaust system. While the crew was exceptionally accommodating, I found that the aroma from the kitchen clung to my clothing, which could be improved with an exhaust system. Despite this, the staff’s hospitality truly enhanced the dining experience.Overall, Mai Thi offers a wonderful culinary journey through Vietnamese cuisine, and with a slight adjustment, it could become an even more inviting dining destination.”
“It was so much fun! I took a flight to start with: this was my very first time, and went with a bunch of friends. There are board games and retro arcade games. Very cool. They have a ghost menu (Served by East Coast or something) it was delicious. The staff was extremely helpful, courteous and mingling a little with tables. Just an FYI for dog owners, this place is dog friendly too ?”
“Great home made food. Always reliable. Service is great. They prepared a birthday cake for my wife's 70th birthday and was it ever good. Chocolate cake with boiled icing. thanks to the staff.”
“Food was absolutely perfect. Boyfriend and I went and got French Kiss Sushi Roll, I got Yaki Soba (spicy, with chicken) and he got the K-Fried Chicken Sweet Chilli. Everything was amazing, they even gave us a sample of a new menu item (cant remember what it was called but it was exquisite). Service was quick as always, they're super friendly people. Thank you Sushi Sapporo for the amazing time, as usual!”
“The best Thai food we've ever had.The waitress was so lovely and made it such a great experience.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free is a must for us and anything can be made gluten free”
“We went towards the end of the night and it was the perfect time. Not many customers, so we really got to experience with the serving staff. The only minus I had is the cooking staff was very rowdy. We could hear them from far away and acting less than professional. But othet then that, good food, great service. Would go again!”
“First we heard of this restaurant was through the "Ask Moncton" Facebook group ("best Chinese restaurant" was asked). My lovely wife, Pat, absolutely loves Chinese food (I tolerate it). Both of us were pleased with our experience. My only disappointment was learning that they do not currently have a dine in setup. All food is takeout and currently well suited for it.While awaiting our meal (suggest phoning order in ahead of time), I walked around their wait area. I could see how little dining area there was at one time. Plenty of current seating for those waiting on takeout food.I was impressed with their current letters of praise framed upon their table (I recommend hanging these on one of their walls).Food was served hot and retained its heat for the 17 minute drive home. Both Pat and I enjoyed the Canadianized Chinese food. My only comment on the food is that I'd ask for more of the dipping sauce used for the chicken balls ordered. There was more than enough of the sauce for the chicken balls alone but I also like that sauce on my rice. When ordering next time I'll be sure to ask for more of that sauce. Definately worth it, for me, even if there's a little extra charge for a small container of the sauce (which I understand). Both Pat and I look forward to dining here again. Be nice, on a warm day, to sit along the riverside across the road, picnic style. Even greater to be able to dine inside their premises.Wheelchair accessibility: There are steps leading into this restaurant. I'm fairly certain they'd have someone run the food out to ones car if customer is not able to handle the restaurants front steps.”
“Always appreciated Lil Cesars for "Fast Pizza" ⚡I had the stuffed crust pepperoni which was advertised as part of their hot-n-ready pizzas but the worker behind the counter told me because they don't sell enough of those (compared to their regular hot-n-ready pizzas), it's not viable for them.Nevertheless, the wait for my pizza wasn't bad at all! About 10mins and they give you a buzzer that you can take with you if you want to warm up in your car out in the lot.I found the pizza itself was pretty great!”
“Went for lunch and got a general tao chicken, lemon chicken and yang chow fried rice. We also ordered a bunch of things off the dim sum menu (bbq pork buns, green onion cake, and steamed buns) everything was super delicious and felt authentic. This will definitely be our go to chinese food place going ”
“The desserts are very good. We enjoyed a different one every time we visited the place. There are good options if you want something sweet after your meal at Mai Thai.”
“Has a juke box with a good variety of music. Bathroom door got kicked in by some drunk old lady who had no respect. But other than that had fun and will revisit soon.”
“An amazing local pub with wonderful service, and food equally as wonderful . Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a delicious, uncomplicated dining experience.”
“This visit was a take out order on the way to an event.Pizza was a little light on sause but otherwise excellent ?Unfortunately they have either paper plates OR napkins when we askdParking: The parking lot wrapps around this building far from it's entirety way. Also has levels. It was fun to drive on it again and remember the old days of the business that used to be the main business on this strip. Years ago”
“I recently dined at Ole Hibachi & Oriental Cuisine, and it was fantastic! The Hibachi chefs were entertaining, the sushi was fresh and delicious, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!”
