We had a good time overall, some laughs and good food. But we have been going to McSweeney's for many years and the quality of the shows keep getting worse. One actor did not remember many of his lines and some song lyrics. I was disappointed. I used to look forward to these shows and recommend them to friends and family, but now I'm really hesitant.

I had gone once before three years ago and we had a fantastic time, decided to go again thinking it’d be the same but we were a bit disappointed. :(

The cast was fantastic but man the show was hard to follow. I found some of the songs didn’t fit very well with the story or maybe it just went over my head. Wasn’t really a good flow. The food was okay but nothing special. I was embarrassed to bring my partners family after talking the experience up so much…

A Five-Star Experience at McSweeney’s Dinner Theatre

If you’re looking for a magical evening filled with laughter, exceptional talent, and great food, look no further than McSweeney’s Dinner Theatre. As loyal fans who never miss a show, we can confidently say this place is a gem—and last night’s performance, part of our Christmas party celebration, was nothing short of spectacular!

The energy, humor, and charm of the cast had us hooked from the very first scene. The festive atmosphere perfectly captured the holiday spirit, making it a truly special experience for our group. Dennis, my husband, is a huge fan of the incredible Jane! Jane’s enthusiasm and charisma light up the stage every single time, and her connection with the audience makes the experience even more memorable. We love to see the same cast members again and again it creates connections!

McSweeney’s consistently delivers with its outstanding performances, delightful ambiance, and impeccable hospitality, delicious food. Whether you’re a first-timer or a regular, you’ll leave the theatre with a smile that lasts for days.

Thank you to the entire team for making every show unforgettable. If you haven’t been yet, treat yourself—you won’t regret it! We’ll be counting down the days until the next performance!

Vegetarian options: They always have a vegetarian meal on the menu

Dietary restrictions: They’re very good about accommodating the menu to dietary restrictions

Parking: Tons of paid parking all around

Kid-friendliness: Nope ! It’s an adult night out ahah but I have seen teens at some shows

Wheelchair accessibility: Not that accessible, but they will accommodate, and you will be able to still enjoy !

4 hours is way to long and drug out to be sitting there. Second half of the show seemed unorganized and off skit. Everything just got foolish.

I've never experienced dinner theatre before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Everyone put on such an amazing performance, the music was fantastic and the atmosphere was just a lot of fun. I didn't expect to be served in character, that was an absolute hoot. kudos to everyone involved you put on a hell of a show and I liked it so much that I'll be back again.
My only problem was not being able to turn my head fast enough to capture every second of everyone's performance, because they all put so much effort and heart into their characters. An absolutely charming and engaging evening, and the Salmon was delightful!

The food was just okay. The play was probably the worse one we have ever paid for and we have been to many dinner shows. The service was prompt and friendly. We would have left early but you don't pay until the show is over so... you are a bit hostaged. It seemed like a dress rehersal of a high school play. We felt like we had wasted our money.

I couldn't believe appetizers were extra cost!?! And the salmon meal lacked flavor; nothing special at all. Actors were good, but venue wasn't; felt like I was in a dungeon or a cave.

Went out for my brothers anniversary. Service was excellent, show was very good with awesome singing. People were stellar, food was not. Had some sort of meatloaf they called a brisket. Barely edible. Chicken wings were fatty and undercooked. They need to change caterers. After a couple midnight trips to the bathroom, i could finally het rid of the food experience. Great people but definitely not going back.

Everyone was wonderful, everyone was having fun. Unfortunately, one table was having "too much fun" and started disrupting the performance even after they were respectfully warned. They were a nightmare to be there with and I hope they don't go back. Manager was a real one for kicking them out. Otherwise, things were excellent. I hope to be back for their next show! Be kind and support the arts.
