It's been YEARS since my last visit to Mexi's on main street, but on a whim I decided to come back, and on Valentine's day of all days! We got a table easily enough, and Dallas, our server was fantastic. Atmosphere was better than I remembered, music volume and lighting were excellent. Food was good, the enchiladas, and Mexican flag burrito were sizeable portions for around $20 each, especially the burritos. Pretty solid Tex-Mex for the prices offered.
Overall I'd say it's worth checking out again (especially if you're hungry).

Jimmy deserves credit for being incredibly kind and welcoming. I would personally read between the lines with any recent negative review from this place, because my experience was great. The staff there are really nice and always seem happy to help out. The food was good. They also have a pretty impressive drink menu, so you'll always find something you like. The portions are good sizes, you definitely won't leave hungry. It’s just a really chill place to hang out and grab a bite. The vibe is super relaxed, making it a great spot for a casual outing. You really can't go wrong with the food and the service. It’s a winner in my book.

I was in on Thanksgiving Sunday, I generally like this place, food is decent, service is good. I have a question about your Happy Hour pricing. I bought a Happy Hour beer (14 oz for $6), I could've had the non Happy Hour beer (20oz for $8.75), but I figured the Happy Hour beer would be a better price. Turns out the Happy Hour beer is 2.33 oz per dollar; but the regular priced beer is 2.28 oz per dollar, virtually the same price. What kind of scam is this?

I ordered a sirloin steak fajitas. It was embarrassing to eat. Each bite I took I could not cut the meat with my teeth. It was like chewing on rubber. After trying to eat it for a while I gave up. The waitress was really nice about it and said you would ask the manager what they could come up with. She offered me chicken instead of the beef and I said no I had enough
We had a great experience at Mexi’s! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We tried the spicy sauce — it was definitely very spicy 😅 but overall everything was tasty and fresh. The staff were super polite and friendly, making the visit even better. Would definitely come again!

The food is hit or miss, but certain things are great! We LOVE their version of Mexican street corn, and the simple carne nachos with a cold beverage. Some other things on menu we haven't loved. Thr beverages are nice and cold. ;) also when summer and patio is open its a great downtown location. Walkable to a few hotels and other bars and restaurants.
