Even though I insisted on paying, they didn’t charge me a single penny. It was my first visit to New Brunswick and the service at this location and many similar incidents throughout my stay left a lasting pleasant impression regarding the people of NB :)“
“This Starbucks is inside the Superstore & is the closest one to the hotel we stayed at (a drive is still necessary though). I have been twice & both times the staff have been very friendly. On the second visit my drink was made wrong (I have a complicated order due to dietary restrictions, so it happens at times). But the barista checked in with me in the middle of making it, realized the mistake, remade it, & apologized very profusely. I expect mistakes with food, it happens. What I watch for is how the service people handle when it happens. And the service & attitude here were just fantastic. I came on here to write a review right away after that.Also, my husband used his Starbucks app to pay both times, so maybe it's just redeeming the rewards that they can't do here (as the other reviewer mentioned). I'd bet that it's because they're integrated with the grocery stores till system (as someone who has dealt with those systems before). Think I've seen that before at similar locations back home.Anyway, thank you to the barista who made my order today. You made my day with your friendly attitude - AND my drink perfectly on the second attempt!“
“I am John, a regular customer. The staffs are very friendly and kind. There is a lovely staff always greeting my name whenever she meets me at the store. However, I had a bad experience at the store today. I was at the store from 2:15pm to 2:45pm today. I ordered a quad expresso with stirred white mocha pumps and EXTRA half&half cream as usual. However, it was bitter this time and the drink was filled just half of the cup. I was supposed to just take and leave but I couldn’t stand the bitterness. After looking through the label, I figured out they put only regular half&half cream, not extra. That might make my drink bitter. I told the barista and she said that it was the way the store made it. I thought we might misunderstand, then I showed her the drink label and the recent orders to identify the difference. However, she still kept saying that was the way store made it again and again with an attitude. I felt annoyed because I ordered here timelessly and I know how it should be and it was wrong amount this time. I stayed for a while because I didn’t know how to deal with that. Luckily she accepted to make it again as my request to put an extra half&half cream and add more ice to fill the cup. And finally bingo, I have the same flavour as usual. I realised I was not wrong for this one but I received an attitude without any apology. I was not really happy to have my drink anymore after going through all this experience. I don’t know why it was so hard to have my regular drink this time. I tried to talk with manager about it but I couldn’t reach to them, then I write it here. I know the store is busy sometimes and we might make the mistakes. However, the staff would rather pay attention more to customers’ demand and tackle solutions than only keep giving them explanations. It might save your time in peak hours. I am still impressed with the store hygiene and friendly staffs here. It’s my favourite place to come always.“
