“This quaint little gastropub in the heart of Moncton served an incredible plate of seared scallops, which was paired with Uncut Hops, a hazy New England IPA that was very citrus forward without any hint of bitterness. The Boat Poutine was also great, although it did get a little greasy near the bottom. This was paired with a delicious pilsner, simply called The Pilsner.“

“Best coffee, bagels and homemade soup in Moncton....and I AM from Moncton.
Vegetarian options: You can make anything vegetarian here
Dietary restrictions: Because the café is a small core staff, they make everything to order right where you can see them making it. So whatever your needs, they can accommodate.
Parking: Always room to park in the lot and if not there is street parking right beside the café.
Kid-friendliness: Kids love this place! My kids love bagels, hot chocolate, apple cider, giant chocolate chip cookies and there are plenty of toys and books to keep little ones entertained.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level with small ramp to make the curb.“

“Didnt try their icecream. Took a cappuccino and some chocolate fudge, didn’t like the fudge, coffee was decent but the service was commendable. The lady was very very sweet. Spent a few hours there to meet up friends, the windows are big, gets a lot of light in cozy interior.“

“We were looking for an all vegetarian or vegan restaurant when we stopped over at Moncton during our road trip. But we wanted a place that might have some Indian options as well.
Calactus was the perfect find. We reached there by closing time so we picked up our order. We had ordered a margarita pizza, indian pizza and nachos. And I must say the food was delish. The pizzas were perfect, healthier and did not leave us feeling heavy. The nachos came with fresh guacamole and salsa.
The service from the team there was also very prompt, welcoming and friendly. Loved the vibe of the place and would definitely want to visit it again and have a meal there this time :)“
