We are in town for the weekend and stopped in for a cheeseburger, poutine and battered fish. I clutched my pearls when the waitress asked if I wanted curds or shredded mozzarella with my poutine! Everything was delicious and the staff were nice, with a good atmosphere. We took back a slice of butterscotch pie and eggnog cheesecake. Both so good but the whipped topping on that butterscotch pie just can’t be beat! We will definitely be back to the Seaside Grill.

The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean, however...
We got the wrong drink, and they forgot the gravy. The food was okay, but it cost 2 people $70 for McCain fries and frozen fish. Pretty disappointing.

The food was bland, when our meal arrived items were missing and we had to remind them what we had ordered. We also had earlier received the wrong soft-drink order.

We stopped in for lunch and our bill was extremly high for what we ordered. $70 for two; with no desert or alcohol.

First time we were there, service was awesome, she was friendly, warm and welcoming. We ordered the platter, would have been better if the seafood wasn't deep fried, we found out after that we could have ordered it grilled.
Great value for your dollar!

I am celiac and find it hard to eat out. The server put me at ease and my grilled haddock with mashed potatoes and veggies was delicious! They also had gf cheesecake! Will definitely be back!!

Husband and I stopped in here as part of the first leg of our honeymoon and had a blast. The wait staff were incredibly kind and helpful and the seafood was just an absolute treat. Buttery and flaky fish and a loaded baked potato larger than any I'd had before. Safe to say, this is definitely somewhere we'd go again.

While I was paying, the server asked if the meal was good. I said yes, and then paused in my mind. I didn’t lie, it was good, but just.

Our family of 5 each had a meal, and we each had challenges. Normally it might seem trivial, but when you pay $100 for a meal these days, expectations for quality and service are higher - and reasonably so. So, for the sake of the next customer… a few details.

I know materials cost more now, so we anticipate costs to be up, we also expect quality to be up; I paid an additional $4 for a single piece of bacon and a single piece of processed cheese on my chicken crunch burger ($18.99 without cheese or bacon). The waitress explained that even though the burger is pictured in the menu with cheese, the cheese costs extra - I opted for it but was disappointed overall - though it wasn’t “bad” - you can see in the picture - it wasn’t especially inspiring. My daughter ordered the “special” poutine which was advertised at $16.99 and although we didn’t complain we were charged $17.99. The gravy was astonishingly salty. My wife found the fish portions in the fish and chips to be small, though she said they were tasty.

When customers are investing to afford a meal out, it needs to be worthy of that investment.
