The food and service are great! They remember us when we come in, and we have never had a meal we were not completely satisfied with! Our go to place for donairs, sushi and my new favourite, Hunter’s Schnitzel! Portions are great too!
It’s hit or miss. I usually order takeout sushi. Sometimes decent, sometimes so much soggy rice the rolls fall apart. Tuna & salmon rolls (raw fish) ordered last time for take out were grey in colour. Did not take any chances and threw them out. Won’t be ordering raw fish rolls there again. Recently ordered 40 sushi rolls (take out) and were given ONE pack of soy sauce. ONE. Pretty cheap for spending $80. NO ginger. NO wasabi. Every other sushi place always has ginger...
We are big Alto fans. Yesterday I had a plate of bulgogi -- so good, tender bulgogi beef and fresh vegetables with light pasta. My wife had a pizza -- delicious. The service was excellent. Background soft piano renderings. All in all a wonderful experience. Thank you Alto staff.
