“We hired Char and Chowder as the caterer for our wedding. They certainly did not have an easy job, as they had to design a menu that accommodated a wide range of tastes, from foodies to "meat and potato" types. I, the bride, am also a vegetarian (and one of the aforementioned foodies) and so it was important to me that there be a "real" vegetarian dish that stands on its own, rather than being an afterthought. If you're a vegetarian, I'm sure you know what I am talking about! Despite these challenges, Char and Chowder delivered an outstanding spread of hors d'oeuvres and dinner buffet that pleased everyone, including children, picky eaters, and more refined tastes. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, raved about how incredible the food was and how high-quality it was. The food is a really important part of any wedding, and it was important to us that we keep our guests well-fed with delicious food. We had an amazing wedding (on Ministers Island) and I have no doubt that Char and Chowder's services played a significant role in that.“
