They hosted 20 of us for a private event which was a huge hit with all. The apps, the beef Wellington and the key lime pie were outstanding as was the service. “My son’s hockey team had a team lunch here and it was the perfect spot! The staff were amazing… fun, fast, efficient and so great with the kids! They had an area for the team to sit together and higher pub tables around the perimeter for parents to enjoy some peace together away from them 😆. They banged out the kids orders first and I was impressed with how quickly we got our food and drinks. Then they opened the big door to the patio and the kids went out there while the parents finished up eating and paying the bills. Great food, atmosphere and staff!”

“I would not recommend here from my personal experience. The breading on all the items was very thick,Therefore couldn't taste the seafood. its unfortunate because the sizes of the Scallops and Shrimp were huge. I pushed aside the breading as much as I could. The Coleslaw didn't taste like anything.”

“We were served by Danika on Wednesday for lunch. We were a group of 7 so she had to bounce between our two tables. Not only was she exceptionally attentive but she was personable and funny and really took great care of us. The food was delicious and the cheesecake selection really was out of this world!!!! I can’t wait to come back on our next trip and hope to see Danika again!”

“I often visit this Subway location and I usually see one person working most of the time I believe her name is Jashan. She is always polite, hardworking, and provides great service. Even when it’s busy, she handles everything very well. Really appreciate her efforts”

“We stayed at The Algonquin Resort for our 20th anniversary and enjoyed all aspects of the experience. The food was certainly a highlight.

We had an excellent meal at Braxton’s the evening we arrived but I really wanted to highlight the three breakfasts we had at The Passamaquoddy Veranda each morning. We tried al a carte once and had the buffet breakfast twice. Both experiences were top notch in terms of both food and service.

While I’ve seen larger buffet offerings it is certainly true that quantity does not equal quality. The buffet spread was more than sufficient and all the options were fresh and delicious.

We were lucky enough to have the same wait staff each morning and I’d like to give a shout out to Cristy for her friendly demeanor, great service and tips on what to see in the town.

We plan to return!”

“Ocean View Takeout is the best ! Visited Aug1 while on Deere Island. There were 4 of us and our food was excellent. (Have been to the …Digger in St Andrews which I would rate a 4/10. In 2025) Ocean View is by far superior in quality of their food. Burger and fries were the best we have had this season !! and we are foodie critics. Keep it up Ocean View . We will be back the next long weekend !!”
