A huge shout out to the Niger Reef and big thanks to Dave, Anthony, Ross and another member of the awesome team whose name I regrettably don’t know. They hosted 20 of us for a private event which was a huge hit with all. The apps, the beef Wellington and the key lime pie were outstanding as was the service. Thank you for such a memorable evening and for tolerating a wee bit of a noisy crowd 😉
I have been living off and on in St. Andrews for the last 8 months and was recently made aware of this local gem.So far I have nothing but praise for this restaurant.Thursday I had the crab cake appetizer (excellent) and the cedar plank salmon which was also excellent.
Tonight I had the tenderloin steak which was cooked to perfection and a wonderful complimentary sauce with veggies.
Friendly and professional service….highly recommended

Wow this humble, and small but mighty foodie spot is a locals favorite, it will make your trip to St.Andrews,NB. Oh and the sitting on the waterfront by the historic Block house.

The restaurant is known for its excellent food, with the chowder, lamb burger, lobster sandwich, and fish cakes receiving high praise from customers. The strawberry rhubarb crumble and carrot cake are also must-try desserts. The outdoor seating area by the water is a highlight, providing a peaceful and picturesque setting to enjoy the delicious meals.
While the name "Tea House" may be a historical reference, the Niger Reef is now a charming little restaurant serving a range of delectable dishes, from crab cakes and bacon-wrapped scallops to various fish entrees. The courteous wait staff and cozy atmosphere contribute to the overall enjoyable dining experience.
