Traveled from Largo, FL to visit on Thursday Oct 10th 2024 and it appears as though they are closed for the season even though google maps said it was open!🤷🏼♂️ I just wanted a lobster roll and picture with the 🦞. Sorry about the 1 star review but I did give 5 stars for the atmosphere because it looks like a good place to eat

Went for wonderful whale watching and ate here. Food was alright. We had fish and chips, seafood platter, lobster sandwich, and rib eye steak. Paid nearly over than 150 cad, was expensive. Skip the lobster sandwich, not worth the hype. Seating were good. Was very busy so it was very loud and service was slow. Overall it was OK.
Questionable cleanliness, plenty of specks, tasteless seafood chowder, came for the lobster advertised on the board in front of the restaurant, there was none. Tempura too fatty, dish not finished ✅ luckily nice waitress

Everything was fantastic. We ate outside on the water. They were short staffed, but we couldn't tell. Overall, very pleased.
Staff is super friendly here. They were a little short staffed but with the amazing views we did not mind the wait. Right on the bay the breeze is strong and refreshing. They even offer a supply of blankets to keep warm if the breeze is too much. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. Fish & Chips cooked to perfection. Amazing!

The Gables restaurant is a wonderful and fantastic place to eat. Beautiful waterfront view if you eat in the patio outside and the staff is very very friendly. Great food and great service.
Dietary restrictions: My wife has dairy allergies and they were very accommodating. No problem at all.
