Love the poutine. I'm so sorry about my previous post that was intended for a completely different location, not even a restaurant. Water Street Diner an your great fare are the first place I head for when I sail in to St. Andrews.
My girlfriend and I stopped in and both had, what we agreed to be, one of the best burger either of us had had in a while. Very fair prices we felt for the food too, and the service was terrific. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area!
A great selection of diner fare - their milkshakes are reminiscent of days gone by. Service was excellent and timely.
Delicious food, fast friendly service. Jenn was superb and offered information on the area and activities taking place. Draught beer was nice, cold but unfortunately only a couple of options.
Nice 59’s style diner. Typical diner menu. Food was very good. We were there before the busy period and service was attentive. Milkshake was great. Right on the Main Street for the town.
Portions were good prices were good and we really appreciate the way they took care of our puppy
It was amazing eating here. The waiter was so nice and patient. The food was delicious, though I couldn't finish my meal. The coffee was good, I had two cups of it. Overall, it was one of the best experiences I've had for lunch.
Meh. It depends on how you look at it, if you're going to a regular everyday diner, it's ok...if the price reflected it. They do have a good selection if you have a side range of tastes in your party. Tasted like store bought stuff dropped in a frier. Price is too high for what it is. Goes off being tourist town and people likely won't be back I'd say. For being right beside the ocean you'd assume it'd be fresh seafood, but assumptions are just that. Very pricey for what you get. Portions were good size though.
First time last time. Can't sit with family if more than 4. Tables nor chairs cannot be moved even if the place is empty. Burgers are frozen tasteless
This was my first visit at the diner and it was opening day. Amazing service from the trainee. They did let me know right away that they didn't have a few things on the menu, Mainly the chowder. And their debit wasn't on site yet but I was prepared. I ordered the chili cheese fries and they were great. I'll definitely be going back. The charm and antiques they had displayed definitely had my eyes dancing dancing around the restaurant. Highly recommend ?

Gigantic ice cream portions and friendly service! We ordered a small cone each and got two huge scoops of delicious ice cream. Highly recommended!
Great "Works" burger & fries....best coleslaw too!! Ice cream 4 dessert all under one roof!!...We dined out on outdoor patio with a water view :) ❤
Nice little place to grab an ice cream cone.
Great food, fast and friendly service!
Stopped in here for an early dinner. They have a large selection of burgers, poutines, seafood items etc. The staff were friendly. Prices were a bit much but I think that can be expected in such a popular tourist area. They have an outdoor patio which is nice. They also serve many kinds of ice cream. I personally didn't eat here but the people I was with all did and they enjoyed the food except the coleslaw. They also offer cold beers at a reasonable enough price. My party said try the gravy.
