Absolutely delicious food! They were offering share plates, we ordered three for the two of us and it was the perfect amount. Highly recommend the broccoli and the cabbage dishes - we were craving vegetables and these two didn’t disappoint. Plus all dishes were beautifully presented. Restaurant was quiet and calm as was the kitchen. Service wasn’t rushed but quietly attentive and relaxed. We wandered in without a reservation and with little expectation and were very pleasantly surprised. One of the best meals we’ve had on our trip to Canada. Definitely recommend reserving a table, which we could’ve done via Google.

We had a fantastic meal here a couple weeks ago. One of the best I've had in a long time! All hits, no misses. Thank you, William and Water!

My husband and I dined here during our 3-day visit to St. Andrews. The food was fantastic. We enjoyed our potato croquettes, oysters, and lobster pintxos and other small plates. My husband had a Negroni and I ordered the Italian 75, which was just okay. Prosecco was a bit flat and it was just a bit too sweet for my taste. Otherwise it was a perfect meal. Service was excellent.

Williams and water is a spectacular experience of tastes and flavors, unique pairings of spices and herbs. The vegetable crudo was the most delightful find, and the heirloom salad is still alive in my memory. The small plates style is not my favorite way to eat , but the plates are perfectly paced at W&W, making the meal a culinary parade.

The food was exceptional. We had several dishes that were all 100% in agreement were amazing. The only disagreement was that the pork noodles were too salty for some but were the favourites of others. Would recommend highly.

Best restaurant in town. Creative food with fresh ingredients. Sierra, the bartender, was knowledgeable about both wines and food, and also makes a great cosmopolitan! Service was wonderful and so was the food.

Jerk cauliflower, fried chicken thighs, garlic shrimp: every dish eclipsed expectations. We were a bit anxious after reading the rotating menu—but it delivered beyond our dinner dreams.

WOWOWOWOWOW! Food was absolutely amazing. Some standouts for me was the potato croquettes and smash fried potatoes. Just delicious. The bay of funday scallops was great as well. The garlic shrimp tasted a bit rubbery for me but was good. Cauliflower bites were good but I felt like I didn't get my bang for my buck. Don't get the daiquiri you basically get in a cosmo glass so not worth the money. I feel most of the meals are great for sharing for 2 people. It's definitely worth a stop. Has washroom on site.

Our family of eight, ranging in ages 12 to 70+, had a wonderful evening at William and Water. With a variety of different kinds of eaters, there was something for everyone (with the buttermilk fried chicken thighs being a favourite of our youngest and I especially loved the summer vegetable carpaccio). The service and food were both exceptional and we enjoyed ourselves so much we went back for tapas the following day!

The experience was superb. The menu offered a relatively broad selection that satisfied our diverse party of 8. We ordered 12 dishes to share- each was well crafted and delicious. We each had different favourites and enjoyed our choices of the seared scallops, summer vegetable carpaccio, garlic shrimp, tuna poke, jerked cauliflower, lobster pintxo, smash fried potatoes, buttermilk fried chicken, braised pork noodles, seared tender steak- then desert. The staff were attentive and prompt with serving a meal we won't forget. We had the opportunity to speak with some staff and learn that produce is sourced locally and selected items are imported from regions Europe the chef visited to optimize what he masterfully creates. We followed our evening the following day for a 3-5pm tapas experience- similarly clever plates that we enjoyed on the patio along the picturesque Water Street, in St Andrews. We are certain to be back.
