Good spot but why do they close so early 😔 I wanted a coffee but I realize they close at 5 Pm I feel like they should be open til atleast 6 🤣

Went to Second Cup this morning and had a terrible experience. The man taking orders (no name tag, beard, backwards cap) was extremely rude and dismissive. We’re teens, and it honestly felt like we weren’t being taken seriously because of that. It took forever just to get our order taken.
I ordered a smoothie that turned out to be syrup, powder, banana, and ice—not what I’d call a real smoothie at all. My friend sent her sandwich back three times because it was frozen in the middle. The last time, I brought it up and was snapped at. The employee said, “Well all the sandwiches are frozen so I guess I’ll have to get a whole new one and microwave it a few times.” It was still cold. In my opinion someone who is comfortable yelling at a couple of respectful teens trying to eat breakfast should not be in customer service. We had given this man no reason to believe that we were disrespectful or bad in any way, yet we faced discrimination because of our age
The food was just mid overall, and the attitude made it worse. Definitely not coming back to this location.

I am regular customer for your coffee shop but today my latte was not in the right temperature and the syrup was too much. I noticed that with new employees that you hired!

Stopped in for Coffee and a muffin a few mornings during my stay in uptown Saint John. Convenient location on King Street, just across from the Delta Hotel. Service was super friendly, fast and the space was clean (they did have a sign up saying there would be renos soon). I downloaded the app and racked up points pretty fast. Good value for money.

I ordered a hot chocolate, a bagel and a brownie on Door Dash this morning and only recieved the bagel and the brownie. I called the Dasher and he said that the store had only given him those two items and that he could not help me. Waste of almost $6 and the bagel and brownie were cold.

Punkin spice latte is better than Starbucks. It does not have the fake taste, and they fill it to the top! I do drink a lot of lattes, and I am so glad to have a great choice in Second Cup.
